QUESTION: IS EFFECTIVE AGAINST "PITBULL'S ATTACK"???
• I had an experience in May, 2015, where two pit bulls were locked in a very aggressive fight and both had several open, bleeding wounds. I emptied a 22 gram canister directly into their eyes and wounds from approximately 4 feet away and it didn't phase them at all! They continued fighting until they were too tired to continue. So, in my opinion, I would never, ever count on this product to thwart a pit bull attack.
• This Sabre 3-1 spray is actually a relatively weak pepper spray with only .33% major capsaicinoids of heat. It also has CS tear gas. It is a combo spray meant for self defense against humans. My understanding is that dogs are more sensitive to pepper spray (OC) than CS gas so this Sabre 3-1 would not be ideal for that. Sabre makes a pepper spray specific for dogs called Protector. Protector has 1% major capsaicinoids - 3 times stronger than the Sabre 3 in 1. And Sabre also makes Sabre Red peppper spray for human attackers that is even stronger with 1.33% MC. Those are powerful pepper sprays.
• If it's OC sabre red I put my money on it. Now that pit might go into a rage for a bit so safe distance is still recommend. Spray and get out of the way.

QUESTION: WHAT ARE THE APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS?
• It is about 3 1/2 almost 4" high and 1" accross, very easy to hold, without it actually being seen in your hand,it has metal clip to hook to jacket or what ever. I didnt use it but clipped it to my top under my jacket when biking this weekend and it held great... also didnt spray it but was very easy to slide to un-lock and your thumb is inplace to use if need be. Highly reccommend.

QUESTION: CAN I KEEP IT IN THE CAR

• My experience is yes, although I would suggest contacting Sabre, they are very responsive. Sabre is a law enforcement grade product. They are sure enough of their product and packaging that they recommend test firing periodically. However if you put it in the car, remember to put a date on it. Pepper spray has a shelf life. My suggestion is that as it ages you replace it and use the older canister for practice. Some states do have restriction on pepper spray, in California where I am for example the canister can not contain more than 2.5 ounces. Make sure you know you states laws. Also some states restrict the product on school grounds and public buildings. Normally if it's in the car, it's not an issue, but may still be a concern. I can say even though I can legally carry a firearm concealed, I almost always have my Sabre Red on my belt. Each of my girls has a canister as well as their Stun Guns.

• No, it's not refillable. You get several short blasts, or one long blast. And for the price it's best to just put out the money and order extra.
