QUESTION: DOES IT KEEP THE LUNCH HOT AND ALSO DOES IT HAVE AN OUTSIDE MESH TO KEEP AN WATERBOTTLE
• It has straps on top that will hold a water bottle but it would not keep a lunch hot.
• It does have 2 outside pockets that could hold a small water bottle. Not sure about keeping things hot since it has only been used for cold.
• We haven't used it for hot lunch, a water bottle fits on the top. the mesh pockets are pretty small on the sides. There is a pocket with a zipper on the front. My husband has put his phone chargers and blue tooth in it.
• Coolers can be used for cold and hot, so yes it would keep the lunch/food hot if you chose to do that. Do a google search on such (e.g. "cooler for warm food") for advice for prolonging storage and using heating elements, if need be. With regard to the mesh pockets, there is a mesh pocket on either side of the cooler but both would be too small for a water bottle. The pockets are 5" wide and 4" in height and pull away from the cooler about 1 1/2". The front pocket would also be too small; it is 6" wide by 6" in height and has about 2" of space. It does have 4 elastic bands/straps on the top of the cooler which are quite flexible. They provide at least a 6" by 6" space and could easily fit a 64 ounce Gatorade-sized container. When not in use to hold something, the elastic straps provide a very useful handle for the cooler instead of having to use the shoulder strap.
• The mesh is not large enough to hold a water bottle but the bungie cords on top will hold a water bottle. I have not used it for hot items, only cold...sorry.
• you can secure a 500 ml water bottle on top, have only used for cold items and I include a cooling pak. The inside has a removal hard plastic compartment

QUESTION: DOES IT FIT THE RUBBERMAID WEEKENDER ICE PACK?
• Yeah it can be fit.
• The ice pack in question is way too big for this particular case. The Rubber Maid Weekender Ice Pack would work best in a 12 can cooler or larger ice chest. Hope this helps you.
• I haven't used one of those but based on the size of the ice pack in the description, it should easily fit. I've put 2 standard size tupperwear containers and laid my coffee mug above them and they all fit easily. It's very roomie.

QUESTION: DOES THE INSIDE HAVE A LINED POCKET TO PUT A FREEZER PACK?
• It does not have a lined pocket, but it does have a mesh pocket under the cover (top portion), which is where I store my freezer pack.
• No the inside does not have a spot to put a freezer pack. I have a hard plastic freezer pack and it works fine for me. If you think the freezer pack takes up too much space, remember the lid compensates a bit so you'll have more room then you'd think. Hope this helps!
• The only place you might be able to put one of those would be on the underside of the lid. There you'll find a expandable mesh pocket. There is nothing on the insides of it though, except for the removable plastic container.
• No there was not a lined pocket. A freezer packet placed inside would be fine. I found food and beverages really did well in maintaining coldness this way.
• No but does have a pocket on the inside of the lid and we have a small one that fits there. But in the summer we use a big one as well and still fits 2 sandwiches chips crackers candy etc. My boyfriend loves it! The best part is the hard plastic liner comes out for easy cleaning.
• there is a pocket in the lid that could be used for a small freezer pack. i just put mine right inside the cooler.
• No, there is no lined pocket specifically designed to holder a freezer pack. The liner itself is a hard plastic shell, which protects sandwiches and chips from being crushed. The lid has a small pocket in it that could probably hold a small freezer pack, however. I've used a freezer pack in this cooler--I just stand it up inside the cooler or lay it on top of the food with a small towel in between as a buffer.

QUESTION: WHAT ARE THE OUTSIDE DIMENSIONS? I NEED TO TAKE THIS TO THE INDY500 AND THEY HAVE SIZE LIMITS. THANKS!
• Dimensions: 9.45 in. x 6.7 in. x 10.24 in. (24 cm x 17 cm x 26 cm)
• 9" long, 9" tall and 6 1/2" wide, I hope that helps..
• 9 in tall x 9 in wide x 7.5 in depth. This approximate. Hope it helps.
• Approximately 10" wide, 11" tall, and 9" wide...
• It holds (9) 12 ounce cans of drink hope this helps you. I think it would be a good choice.

QUESTION: I LIKE TO CARRYING ICE CUBES W/CANS. MY PAST EXPERIENCE W/MELTING ICE & OTHER SOFT COOLERS ITS LEAKAGE. DOES THIS COOLER LEAK AFTER COUPLE OF HOURS?
• So far I haven't had any problems. I usually use a plastic bag as a liner(the ones from Sam's Club meat dept.) if I am going to put small bottled water in the cooler with ice packs. There may be some light condensation but never any leakage and the last bottled drink usually stays cool(not ice cold) for about 6-7 hours. I love the way the well structured bag holds its shape and has 3 exterior pockets with one small interior pocket located on the top of the lid (a few inches longer would have been perfect). Otherwise great cooler especially to hold kids school lunch. Bought three of them.
• If you keep it right side up it won't leak.
• I have not carried ice in this. I would expect the hard sided liner would prevent leakage as long as the cooler was kept upright.
• No problem. Once kept upright.
• I put the ice in a zip lock Baggie just to be safe. Everything stays very cold.
• It's hard liner insert will contain fluid much like an ice bucket at a hotel, but if tipped no. Plus with ice you can probably only fit 6 cans. It's designed to have an ice pack inserted into the inner lid, not for ice.
• i have only used ice packs, however, based on the fact that it's a soft cooler i recommend that you put the ice cubes in an enclosed container before putting it in this cooler to prevent leakage
• Yes you can. It has a removable container in it so it doesn't leak
• No. It doesn't leak. It has a removable container inside that will keep it from leaking

QUESTION: WOULD IT FIT TALL (9-OUNCE) BABY BOTTLES?
• Will hold just over 8 inches vertical or horizontal
• Yes, I just measured a nine oz bottle and it fits because the cover is hollow and soft.
• Yes it does and plenty of room for taller container like a pint. I love this cooler.
• Not with the nipples on the bottles.
• We fit 11 cans without plastic container in it :)
• Bottles with caps on top - yes. Bottles with the nipples attached - not sure it would be a tight squeeze.

QUESTION: HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP THE FOOD COOL FOR? WHAT ABOUT IN THE WINTER OR SUMMER? DOES IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE?
• I live in Panama City, Panama and trust me it keeps the food nice and cold. It is a tight fit if you put in the frozen blocks, I would use frozen soft pack or ice cubes in order to fit a lot of stuff. The feature I really like also is that you can fit tall cans /bottles. I truly like mine and the only thing I want now is another one that will hold a 12 pack! For winter needs and summer needs I highly recommend this compact cooler
• No difference in winter or summer, worked very well for me, I just used ice most of the time to keep everything cold, what I did like especially was that it fit really nice tall drinks, especially certain water bottles, makes it very nice to grab cold water whenever you need it. The only complaint I have is this, they need to make one that holds a 12 pack!!!
• i used it in summer, and unless its got more ice in it than food, you are better off buying a real cooler
• This depends on the type ice packs used and how well you ice it up. I generally put igloo ice pack in bottom and another in the top netting of the inside of lid. It generally lasts a range of 4-6 hrs, and I suggest not leaving cooler in the sun. Outdoor temps do make a difference. Naturally heat affects ice packs sooner, where as cold temps will prolong cooling. This cooler does a great job keeping things cooler due to the plastic durable insert in the cooler along with the ice packs. I prefer this over any other cooler.

QUESTION: WILL THE HARD LINER STOP MELTED ICE FROM LEAKING THROUGHOUT THE COOLER (IF IT REMAINS UPRIGHT)? OR ARE ICE PACKS A BETTER OPTION?
• yes, it is a solid plastic bucket not a plastic film....I hope that helps, Ed
• Yes, the liner is a hard plastic insert that will not leak and it is antimicrobial so melting ice is no problem unless it tips over.
• Hardliner is solid, so no leaks should occur if kept reasonably close to upright. I use ice packs myself, but either should work.
#Coleman_9-Can_Review

QUESTION: WHAT IS THE MATERIAL IT IS MADE OF?
• A very strong and durable material. Mine fell of the back of a motorcycle at 60 and it only put a small hole in it. The material is like a Kevlar feeling material. The cooler is definatly worth it. It's not a cheap piece of junk!
• I'm not exactly sure, but according to the manufacturer's website, "The soft liner is made of FDA-approved food contact material that's safe for use with food and drinks. Antimicrobial, product-protecting properties are built into the flexible lining to resist odor, mold and mildew, making it easy to clean between uses."
• It is made of cordura nylon, or at least it resembles the density of cordura nylon. Good quality and tough. I've been using it for a lunch box for the last 6 months and it has held up real well. The solid plastic liner is a real plus.. Highly recommend this item.
• The exterior is made of nylon type of canvas material. It is a very close weave resulting in a relative smooth textured fabric. It's major feature is the removable internal hard plastic liner that catches the inevitable spill. The inner liner can be removed washed and returned. I highly recommend it. The removable plastic liner was the key factor in choosing this cooler.
• It is a hard plastic on the inside.

QUESTION: IS THERE A HANDLE ON TOP AS WELL AS THE SHOULDER STRAP?
• There is no handle, just the shoulder strap.
• It doesn't have a handle but you can make the strap so small it looks like a handle! My husband uses the strap like a handle because he doesn't like to wear it on his shoulder.
• No just the shoulder strap.
• No there are tie down type strings that can double as handle or secure other items
• No, it has bungy-type straps but no no handle on top
#Coleman_9-Can

QUESTION: DO YOU NEED ICE PACKS WITH THIS BAG
• It will keep items cold. But if you are packing dairy items or other such items that need to be cold as to not spoil after maybe 5 plus hours, I would use an ice pack.
• We use ours for lunch purposes to the office. We leave the lunch in the refrigerator overnite and then take the cooler to work the next day. It does not get refrigerated at the office and the items are still nice and cool by lunchtime. However, if you need things very cold and you have something that would spoil, I would suggest adding an ice pack. On another note, this is a very nice cooler, very well constructed and you can even remove the plastic insert to wash if need be.
• I would recommend them if you want to keep its contents cold. I don't think the cooler's insulation alone will be enough.
• I always use ice packs and it is a great little cooler. I've never used it without ice packs, so I can't say how cold it would keep things without them.
• If goods will be in there during warm weather I would. We freeze our bottled water and put it in.
• Yes, it doesn't come with the ice packs, but it will depend on what you are carrying in the bag. I take my lunch and don't put it in the refrigerator because it keeps cool or hot for various hours.

QUESTION: WHAT ARE THE DEMENSIONS?
• Inside dimensions are 8 1/4"L X 5 3/4"W X 6 1/4" H
• Hi Kathy. The dimensions are 9.45 in. x 6.7 in. x 10.24 in. (24 cm x 17 cm x 26 cm) (which I got off the Coleman sight). This is a great lunch box. I pack a breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks for my husband and there's plenty of room for the ice pack. Additionally, I really like that you can take out the removable plastic liner to keep the inside nice and clean.

QUESTION: I AM LOOKING FOR A COOLER TO TAKE ON A CRUISE, WILL THIS WORK OR IS IT TOO SMALL. I CAN'T HAVE ONE BIGGER THAN 12 INCHES BUT NEED TO PACK WATER BOTTLES.
• I feel this cooler is smaller than indicated, as I was slightly disappointed. Although, you should be able to fit (6) regular sized water bottles in this cooler with the hard liner in place. I have also fit (6) cans and (2) water bottles at one time. It is possible to remove the liner, which may allow a tad more room.
• Very good for cans or smaller size water bottles. Kind of small if you are going to add snacks.
• You can fit 6 water bottles if you lay them sideways. Maybe 8 if you take out the hard inside piece.
• How many water bottles are you planning on taking with you? It easily holds a 6 pack of soda cans with ice or a frozen gel pack. There is a good bit of room in the top of the cooler so you would be able to have items taller than a 12oz can. I think it would hold 6 or more water bottles with ease.
• This is good for the half liter water bottles. It would hold 6 easily. It is more tall than wide.
• In my opinion yes it would u can lay them flat might have to be smaller bottles but sure plus u might have a side pocket or two and it's not too bulky enjoy ur cruise:)
#Coleman_9-Can_Soft_Cooler_With

QUESTION: WHAT IS THE LENGTH X WIDTH X HEIGHT? DIMENSIONS GIVEN DO NOT SPECIFY WHICH IS WHICH. THANK YOU.
• It is about 9&1/2 inches tall and wide and about 6&1/2 inches deep.
• Outside 10x7x9 Plastic insert 8x5x7
• I'm not sure of the dimensions, but it is the perfect individual beach cooler. It actually fits 9 cans with room for something on too of cans. I even put a little ice to keep cool longer. I bought 3 of them and have not been disappointed.
#Coleman_9-Can

QUESTION: CAN I PUT HOT ITEMS IN THIS ALSO?
• I probably wouldn't because I don't know that the hard plastic insert or (if you removed the insert) the inner lining wouldn't melt. This is intended to keep items cold, not hot. I'd contact Coleman to be sure, but I wouldn't assume that it would be heat-safe.
• It has a Thermal Liner inside when you remove the hard plastic "Tub", but the thermal liner is plastic so, I would be use caution when trying to use for hot items.
• The inside is a hard plastic liner. It is made for cold items not hot.
• Pretty much all insulated food bags are meant for keeping items cool (with an ice pack), and for hot items, you'd want to use a Thermos food jar. You'll want to fill up the jar with boiling water and let it sit for 10 minutes to pre-heat it, before putting the hot food in the jar. And also, you'll need to heat the food till boiling (hotter than if you were to eat it immediately) because the thermos will slow down but not stop the heat loss, so by lunchtime it'll be comfortably warm.
• You could but they won't stay hot. It's a cooler, not a thermos
#Soft_Cooler_With

QUESTION: WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS?
• The inner dimensions of the hard liner are: 6.5" H 8.5" W 5.5"D. You can stretch out the L&D with it removed.
• Dimensions: 9.45 in. x 6.7 in. x 10.24 in. (24 cm x 17 cm x 26 cm) These are directly from the Coleman website.
• The bag is 7 1/4" wide, by 10" long, by 9" high.
• I'll also post some pictures with a pretty standard size reference item (can of coke).

QUESTION: IS THIS AN OK SIZE TO TAKE TO SCHOOL LIKE FOR LUNCHES AND WILL IT FIT IN A BACKPACK?
• In my opinion no too bulky I thought the same thing but u can fit just about anything in there good luck:)
• This is a pretty good cooler. I use it to take my lunch to work and once in a while keep 12oz beverages cool. I don't how it would fit inside a backpack. An adult size pack maybe, but sort of large for a childs.
• yes, it is definitely for a child. would be perfect for a backpack. just not made for an adult to take to work
• I believe it is rather tall to fit in a backpack with books or other supplied
• We used this to take to disney world for snack and drinks because it was large enough for family. This is probably too large for a school lunches. Also it has a removable hard side container inside. I'd buy a smaller item for lunches.
• For a child? It's pretty bulky. I don't think it will fit in a backpack with other school supplies. I wouldn't buy it for 10 or 15 year old.
• Good for lunch, but I suspect it would take up too much space in a backpack.
#Coleman_9-Can_Soft_Cooler_With

QUESTION: WHAT ARE THE LINER DIMENSIONS?
• The plastic liner insert is 6 3/4" high, the bottom is slightly more narrow since it tapers up, so the top is 8 3/4" across one way and 5 1/2" across the other. The bottom is 8" across one way and 5 1/4" the other. it has 2 cutouts to use as handles on the sides. I don't use my liner so the bag molds to whatever I carry in it.
• Appox. 6''x 9'' x 7'' deep
#Coleman_9-Can

QUESTION: IS THERE A COMPARTMENT FOR THE FREEZER PACKS OR DO YOU PUT THEM ON THE BOTTOM OF THE COOLER?
• there is a pouch in the lid that would hold a cold pack but the main compartment is open. The compartment does have a removable plastic liner that can be washed.
• Yes there is a mesh compartment on the inside of the lid that an ice pack would fit in.
• I lay the first 3 down and set a can shaped freezer pack on top and then add the next 2 rows. The zippered compartment on the front would probably not allow the packs to work very well, and they would limit the size of any packs.
• This is a wee bit small for freezer packs. I purchased it for packing my lady's lunch to take to work and used a frozen water bottle in the center which is still frozen after an 8 hour day at work. That being said I have now ordered the 16 can cooler so I can use freezer packs. The 9 can pack is very well made but I just want more room to work with. Coleman 16 Can Cooler
#Soft_Cooler_With

QUESTION: HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP CONTENTS COLD?
• Quite a long time. I can put 9 cans and 36 ice cubes in it and it will stay cold out on the course in 85 degree sunny for 5-6 hours before all the ice melts. If it's out of the sun it lasts longer. It doesn't stay as cold as an all plastic one but I have those also and chose to use this one more because I like it so much.
• It last like four hours with cold conditions
#Coleman_9-Can_Review

QUESTION: WOULD THIS HOLD 3 LARGE 32 OZ BALL JARS?
• It should. Compare the jar measurement to the cooler measurements in the ad.
• Hi, don't really understand the term "ball jars" but sure it can hold 3 liters bottle
• No. I don't think it would be able to fit them, even with taking out the hard plastic liner. It's advertised as being able to hold 9 cans, not sure what size cans they are talking about, it might hold 9 cans that are small like tomato paste comes in, but I don't think you could even fit a 6 pack of soda in this thing. It is very small. For 3 large 32oz ball jars, I would go with the one they say can hold 16 cans, that one should work for you. That's what I ended up ordering after I got this one and saw how small it was. Someone had posted pictures of the one that holds 16 cans with a tape measure showing you how wide and long it is, that might help you determine if it will fit your needs. Good Luck.
#Coleman_9-Can_Soft_Cooler_With

QUESTION: IS THERE A REMOVABLE COOLER PACK INSIDE THE TOP OF THECOOLER?
• No but there is a mesh pocket on the inside top of the cooler. I use this pocket to hold eating utensils.
• No, you have to supply your own. :-)
• There is not a removable cooler pack.
• Nope. The item I ordered and received only had a removable hard plastic liner. There was no mention of a cooler pack when I ordered.

QUESTION: I USUALLY PUT MY LUNCH IN FRIDGE...WILL DAIRY, GREENS, ETC. STAY FRESH IN THIS COOLER FOR 4 HRS W/O PUTTING IT IN FRIDGE? I'M NEW TO COOLERS!
• I think it would be fine indoors, especially if you used some ice packs. Fit & Fresh Cool Coolers Slim Lunch Ice Packs - Set of 4
• I take broccoli, celery, grapes, etc in my lunch almost every day and never use a fridge. If you use one or several ice packs you shouldn't have a problem. I recommend the "lunch box" brand of containers. They fit in here perfectly.
• Yes, I believe it will. I slip a re-uasable freezer pack into the cooler along with my food and drinks and everything stays very cold.
• yes I put ice in my cooler with my lunch cheese and salad and it is perfect at lunch time I still have ice in the ice pack
#Soft_Cooler_With

QUESTION: IS THERE A HANDLE ON THE TOP
• No handle - just the elastic bands that are pictured. But I've carried the cooler many times using both bands. They are surprisingly durable and have maintained their elasticity.
• no not on the top the strap is adjustable to go nicely on your wrist
• There is not a small handle, like a lunch pail, but there is a very handy shoulder strap.
#Coleman_9-Can_Review

QUESTION: CAN THIS BE USED AS A LUNCH BOX FOR MEN WHO WORK IN CONSTRUCTION?
• Hi Maria, Absolutely! I bought it for my husband to use as a lunch box. It has a hard plastic box inside it that comes out, so even if he "forgets" to rinse out his travel mug after finishing his coffee and drips all over the inside, it's easy to clean. The cooler is light weight, and pretty well insulated. It keeps his food cool until lunchtime at least.
• Yes, I bought it for my husband and he loves it
• I don't see why not. I love the hard liner. I put soup, sandwiches, water and peach cup plus kooler pack in mine. There are outside pockets for napkins or condiments. I freeze my kooler pack over night it keeps my food.
• Absolutely. I use it as a lunch box (I'm a Security Officer) And we use it for family trips. It's pretty awesome. Definitely worth the price
• Absolutely!
#Coleman_9-Can_Soft_Cooler_With

QUESTION: IS THE INTERIOR LINING PLASTIC (NOT THE REMOVABLE LINER - WHICH IS STATED TO BE PLASTIC)?
• Yes.
• Yes besides the removable hard plastic bin type liner, there is a plastic liner to the cooler.
• It's a light weight vinyl. Be careful, the cooler only holds a 6 pack and very little ice or a cold pack or two. I suggest you go larger if you were looking to hold nine cans.
#Coleman_9-Can

QUESTION: WOULD THIS KEEP SUNDRIES IN MY CAR COOLER WITH OUT A COLD PACK. IE RAISONS,PROTEIN BARS,LOTION,MOUTHWASH ETC.
• I would honestly put a small one in there. My son has 2 flat ones along the two sides as he has food in his. One really hot days, definitely!
• Probably not with out cold pack
• I would probably use a cold pack with the food items in the summer. Other times of the year you would probably be fine.
• Yes, it is lightly insolated. It is really designed to be used with a cooling pack, but keeping something like mouthwash, lotion, protein bars (which you could just stash in your glove box without harm), or similar "non-perishable" items is safe and functional. Its a great little lunch bag. I love it. I do use a cooling pack for food (its intended purpose), but secondary uses such as what you mention would not require a cooling pack.
#Soft_Cooler_With

QUESTION: DO YOU HAVE TO USE A THEMOS ICE MAT OR ONE OF THOSE SLIM LUNCH IN PACK????
• Yes. We live in Texas and things heat up pretty fast
• No method of keeping food items cool was included in the purchase. We removed the plastic carrying case (easily removed from the interior) and do not use any form of cooling method as we live in the woods in the Pacific Northwest.
#Coleman_9-Can_Review

QUESTION: IF I NEED TO REMOVE THE HARD LINER FOR PACKING, IS THE SOFT LINING JUST AS GOOD AS THE HARD PLASTIC FOR INSULATION?
• I believe so..I like this product.i use much less ice cubes because the insulation is good.
• I haven't tried it without the liner but unless it's very hot outside it will keep cool. I put a freezer pack in mine but this is Texas and we have some hot days here. I love the cooler. I would buy another. I also bought the container set that has a freezer pack to use with it. Perfect!
• Yes, the hard liner will make hard contour and serves as a collection tray for moisture. Otherwis, the purpose stays the same
• It appears to be a good, durable lining, but I've kept the hard lining in when using the lunchbox, only removing it to clean the hard lining. Hope this helps
• No
#Coleman_9-Can_Soft_Cooler_With

QUESTION: IS THE SHOULDER STRAP LONG ENOUGH TO USE AS A CROSS BODY?
• Not comfortably I'm 5'9 160 lbs
• No, the strap is made for the shoulder.
• I would say possibly if the person is petite, otherwise it might prove to be extremely snug.
• The strap doesn't extend out far enough to do that for me, maybe for some one who is petite it would work.
• No.
#Coleman_9-Can

QUESTION: HOW GOOD/EFFECTIVE IS THE INSULATION?
• My fiancé says it's good. But we bought the square ice packs to go with it. He's a trucker and works 14 hour shifts and his stuff still stays cold.
• I bought this Coleman for my husband who is a truck driver he says he loves it and wished I had found earlier. Coolness lasted over 12 hours and still cool when I unpacked when he got home. I would recommend if you are in a vehicle, don't know how it would do outside all day, but has met our needs!
• This is a soft side cooler with very good "silver" padded insulation. It is a Coleman. I trusted the brand and I am not disappointed with the effectiveness of this cooler. My only concern is that the strap is short and is not long enough to use it as a shoulder strap
#Soft_Cooler_With

QUESTION: SIDE MESH POCKETS, CAN THEY FIT A 24 OZ DURABLE WATER BOTTLE? IS THE MESH TALL ENOUGH?
• The side mesh is too short and not much stretch but it should fit under the elastic straps on the top
• Yes, you can fit a bottle in there. No, it's not tall enough for all the mesh to cover it but will fit and hold it in good.
#Coleman_9-Can_Review

QUESTION: WILL A 6 PACK OF GLASS BEER BOTTLES FIT IN THIS? OR ONLY CANS?
• Hmmmm, can't say for sure, but I think that they would fit if you lie them down. Also depends on what kind of bottle. Some brews have a taller bottle, i.e. Heineken used to use shorter bottles, but now they are taller. Since I gave the item for a gift, I don't have it in front of me to check; but I am going to say that they would fit. Hope that helps!!
• I don't think so although I haven't tried. It looks like you can fit a 6 pack of cans standing and then 3 more laying across the top. Hope that gives you an idea of the size.
• I don't think long necks would but regular height bottles would
• Yes they will, I mean the normal bottle, but without the hard case that comes inside.
• With ease!

QUESTION: HOW FUNCTIONAL ARE THE MESH BOTTLE HOLDERS ON THE SIDES? ARE THEY ON BOTH SIDES AND ARE THEY BIG ENOUGH AND STURDY ENOUGH FOR LARGE SMOOTHIE BOTTLES?
• No, they're pretty small.
• The mesh holder on the sides can't even hold a soda can. It doesn't stretch out that much.
• No barely fit a 16 oz water bottle.

QUESTION: IS THIS LUNCH BAG TOO BIG TO BE A KIDS SCHOOL LUNCH BAG?
• My kids have used this as a lunchbox (my daughter was in 1st grade when I bought one for her). So, no, I think it works perfectly as a lunchbox. My daughter prefers to carry it using the straps on top of it, rather than using the shoulder strap.
• Yes it's a little big for a child's lunch bag.
• It's a perfect size
• Not at all. It has room to carry a thermos and a water bottle for any after school activities. It doesn't hold the smells the soft lunch bags carry if you remove the hard liner and wash each night. It is a kid tough lunch box. Lesson learned, my son's drink leaked all inside of his backpack in the soft lunch box he had. What a mess to clean up.

QUESTION: DOES IT HAVE A HANDLE
• Just a long strap as in the picture
• It has the shoulder strap and it has some stretchy bungie-cord-like things on top that are for stashing something, but I often use it as a handle. No actual handle though.
• No handle, just the shoulder strap.

QUESTION: HOW LONG IS THE STRAP WHEN IT IS ADJUSTED TO ITS LONGEST LENGTH? AND CAN THE STRAP BE EASILY REMOVED (CLIP TYPE ENDS)?
• Not sure how long the strap is when at it's longest length. It is not long enough to go across the chest easily. The strap does not have clip ends so that it can be removed.
• The strap fully extended is approx 36 inches or 3 feet. It is attached, not clipped to the bag. You can shorten the strap and tuck it behind the bag, but there is nowhere to clip a different strap in place of the default one. This is a great lunch bag. I have no complaints. I am sure anyone using this bag will like it as well. Happy shopping ...
• Returned product iam afraid I don't know the answer to that...

QUESTION: CAN THIS BE USED FOR KIDS
• I gave one each to my grandsons 7 and 5 for school lunches and they like them very much.
• Yes, it can be used for kids and their drinks/soft drinks along with yours;-0
• It would be perfect for a child.
• Yes it can. I use for my toddler when we go out anywhere for a period of time. Easy carry and keeps it cold. I love it.
• Yes, easy open zippers, inside and outside pockets, not to large for kids
• It's a pretty good size, if your child is small it might not be good. Also it's probably too big for the inside of a book bag with books in it. Hope this helps
• Yes it's a little large but the sturdiness would be great for a child.. It would fit in a backpack

QUESTION: DO YOU HAVE TO USE A THEMOS ICE MAT OR ONE OF THOSE SLIM LUNCH IN PACK????
• I personally use a slim igloo hard type ice pack. It still leaves room for plenty of items in the box and keeps items cool. I hope this helps
• We use two of the small ice squares. Works fine.

QUESTION: IS THIS LEAK PROOF WITHOUT THE HARD LINER IN.
• As long as you didn't tip it, it would not leak. I filled mine with water - without the hard liner - and it did not leak. Water did leak out of the zipper when tilted.
• Yes, when cleaning it I leave warm soapy water in it for a bit, however it is not a water proof container due to the zipper.
• sorry, I haven't tried it without the hard liner
• I have not tested the cooler with a liquid spill. we use cooler packs. the seams appear to very well sealed.
• Yes, without the hard inner liner, it's still pretty secure, have had no issues
• i don't think you would be able to use it without the plastic liner. It's really ideal the way it is

QUESTION: IS IT TALL ENOUGH TO HOLD WATER BOTTLES UPRIGHT? OR ONLY CAN SIZE?

QUESTION: WHEN ICE MELTS, IS THE COOLER WATERPROOF FROM WATER LEAKING OUT?
• The cooler does have a plastic container inside so it does not leak. Also, if something leaks inside the plastic comes out you can wash it. I hope that helps.
• Yes, the inside is a removable, hard compartment that has no seams and is completely waterproof. The only time water leaks out is if you tip it upside down and some water will creep out the zipper.
• With the hard liner there doesn't seem to me that there is any possibility of leakage.
• It comes with a hard plastic cover on the bottom and sides. Not the top so I wouldn't turn it upside down. I use ut eith ice-packs so I don't know for sure about ice.
• Yes

QUESTION: HOW LONG IS THE ADJUSTABLE STRAP?

QUESTION: WILL THIS KEEP FOOD HOT?
• Yes it can keep food hot but not indefinitely. For it to work even better I'd take out the plastic liner.
• Food would be keep hot for a short period of time.
• I got this to carry dried ice. Have not used to this point.
• Nope this can cooler was made only for to put sandwiches in its does not have heated linings to keep food hot
• An insulated food jar would do a better job of keeping food hot. You will want to heat up the food to boiling point (hotter than if you were eating it immediately) and also pre-heat the food jar by putting boiling water in it and letting it sit for 10 min or so. The bag can then be used to pack the food jar plus other items.

QUESTION: IS THE MESH POCKET ON THE SIDE BIG ENOUGH TO HOLD A 24OZ. WATER BOTTLE?
• No. The mesh pockets are big enough to put your wallet, phone or keys. Not much else.
• I agree that these are pretty small - I brought a 11.5oz slim can of Arizona with me today and when I tried couldn't get the pocket around the bottom of it. Seeing the comment about the keys and wallet had me try mine - I could barely get my S4 into the pocket and my keys actually didn't fit.
• No it can't. I tried putting my 24oz shaker cup and the bottom (narrowest part) won't even go in.
• Haven't tried to do that, but I suspect it would be very tight; or might not even fit.
• No

• There is a mesh screen that can hold a couple of candy bars or so.

• Yes there is. Big enough to hold a few snack items and or your medication, vitamins, etc.

• You should the lid or top of the cooler is dome shaped I can almost fit a 32oz bottle in it with the thin ice pack on the bottom
• Hello! There is no lining to be removed, it is really spacious, I fit a 16 ounce and 18 ounce insulated thermo both at the same time along with a food container with some snack on it. It is really nice to be able to fit all that in what seems to be a small cooler. Lots of things fit in! I love it!

QUESTION: CAN A NALGENE BOTTLE FIT IN THIS?
• I believe so, you just have to stand it up straight. The lid to it gives you the extra room to have tall bottles in it
• Well it should fit but I'm not positive
• I am not sure. It may even be able to lay sideways depending upon the size. Or, like a previous customer mentioned, the lid is rather flexible. I love this cooler as a lunchbox for my son. The hard plastic liner keeps the inside clean. I can wash it out every night and put it back in.
• Depends on the height of the bottle. If it's 8 to 9 inches in height; then yes.

• I can put a 7" by 5" rectangular glass food storage container in it with the hard liner, or an 8" by 6" one without. For both of these containers (height 3"), I can stack a 5.5" tall thermos upright over them. So my answer would be yes.
