QUESTION: CAN THIS WATER BOTTLE BE WASHED IN THE DISHWASHER? THANK YOU!!
• I do not think it would come clean in a dishwasher. The opening is pretty narrow for water to spray all the way to the bottom.
• You Cannot: Put your flask through the dishwasher or soak the exterior in hot water: The dishwasher can get hot enough to affect the insulation property of the flask as well as discolor the powder coat. Similarly, soaking your entire flask in hot water can discolor the powder coat. Put your Hydro Flask in the freezer: Due to the double wall vacuum insulation, the water inside will be protected from the temperature inside the freezer and won't freeze. If you want ice cold water, put some ice cubes inside your flask and notice how long it takes them to melt! Put your flask on the stove: Due to the double wall vacuum insulating property of the flask, outside temperature will not change the inside beverage temperature. If you put your flask on any sort of stove or heat source, the heat will damage the outside of the flask. Soak or put the Wide Flat Cap, Stainless Steel Flat Cap or Loop Caps through the dishwasher: The Wide Flat Cap, Stainless Steel Flat Cap, Standard Loop Cap and Narrow Loop Cap can take on water when they are run through the dishwasher or submerged in water for an extended time. Instead, we recommend hand washing them with hot, soapy water, rinsing and allowing them to dry. You Can: Wash your flask with a bottle brush: You can find a perfect bottle brush in the baby section of most grocery stores. Use the bottle brush as frequently as possible. Use white distilled vinegar for cleaning: You can use household white distilled vinegar to help remove any stains or discoloration on the inside of your flask. We recommend putting ½ cup of vinegar in your flask, gently swirling the vinegar around to wash any affected areas and let sit for 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and repeat if necessary. Use baking soda for cleaning: For those stubborn spots inside your Hydro Flask, mix 2-3 tablespoons of baking soda with a small amount of warm water to form a scrubbing paste. Dip the bristles of your bottle brush in the paste and work paste into affected area on the inside of your flask. Repeat as necessary until stain disappears. Wash your Hydro Flip Lid and Wide Straw Lid in the dishwasher: The Hydro Flip Lid and Wide Straw Lid are top-rack dishwasher safe. The cap may last longer if it is hand washed, but if it needs to be deep cleaned, the dishwasher is acceptable.

QUESTION: WHAT COUNTRY IS THIS MADE?
• Designed in Bend, OR - But, Made in China
• I bought it from Amazon, but I'm pretty sure they are made in China.
• It is made in Bend Oregon, USA. It's an excellent product. I have 3 of them!
• I'm from Bend so I know this product well. Very proud of fellow Bend Oregonians who designed this bottle, which functions well as suppose to. But, and it's a big but, the actual bottles were manufactured in China. Having said that, I have no complaints, it keeps my water hot or cold for 2 to 3 hrs without a problem. Bottom line, designers of these products are from Bend, OR but actually manufactured in China.
• It's made in China

QUESTION: DOES THIS BOTTLE WORK FOR MILK (FSIDE POCKET OF 5 YEAR OLD'S LUNCHBOX)?
• I would think so. It does not leak and it does keep it cold for a very long time. I think if I was to use it for milk I may add a few ice cubes for peace of mind. Also because it doesn't sweat their lunch won't be a sogy mess.
• I have not tried it with milk, but I imagine it would work fine. I would not use any sport or drinking cap with milk as they would be hard to keep clean and sanitary, but with the included cap it does not leak and it is easy to clean, inside and out.
• I'm not sure,I got it strictly for water.I think that it wld be way too heavy for a 5 yr old to hold,it's pretty heavy when empty & more so when filled & the screw off & on top might be too hard also, takes a little bit to take it on off,I dnt thnk it's really meant for kids that little.
• Absolutely! I send my son's milk or olvatine in it to school, and he's thrilled that it's still cold.
• I don't see why it wouldn't. It keeps things cold and the thread on the top makes it easy to screw shut. (You might want to practice with the child first.)
• It fits perfectly for my 5yr old son. He loves it! It is a bit heavy but totally doable :) and the Klean Kanteen 3.0 sports cap pairs perfectly with this bottle (any standard neck Hydro Flask). Plus, the KK caps u can sterilize in boiling water for 5 mins (it's actually what KK recommends on pkg) so we use it for milk all the time. Hope that helps! :)

QUESTION: HOW TALL IS THE 18 OZ VS THE 21 OZ? NEED TO MAKE SURE IT'LL FIT IN MY SON'S LUNCH BAG. THANKS :)
• I have the 21 oz bottle. It measures 10.75 inches tall.
• The 21oz is about 11 inches including the top. I also have the 12oz which is about 8 inches including the top. I use the 12oz for my daughter and it just barely fits in her character lunch box.
• Hello - Wendy from Tall Ridge here - The height dimensions of the 18oz Standard Mouth Hydro Flask are: 7.8" without the cap and 9.8 with the cap. The height dimensions of the 21oz Standard Mouth Hydro Flask are: 8.9" without the cap and 10.7 with the cap.

QUESTION: HAS ANYONE TRIED THIS PRODUCT FOR KEEPING HOT COFFEE? WILL APPRECIATE ANY RESPONSE. ADVANCED THANKS
• That's what this particular size is for.
• Mine did not keep coffee hot.
• Sorry, I haven't tried it with anything warm. It's amazing for cold things, though. I would imagine this one would work well, but the wide-mouth food containers do not keep things warm for very long.
• I have several different sizes of the Hydro Flask including the 12-oz standard mouth style. They are all great. If you pre-heat the bottle by running hot water into it and letting it stand for a minute, your coffee will stay hot for the day. (Of course, you shouldn't leave it sitting around with the top off!) I use my bottles mostly for keeping drinks cold, but I do carry tea with me at times and have never had the tea get cold before I finish drinking it. The manufacturer promises that hot drinks stay hot for 12 hours and cold drinks stay cold for 24 if you pre-heat or pre-chill.
• I have one that I make hot tea in all the time. If I keep the lid closed, it's still HOT 4 hours later. If I keep it open it's still hot 3 hours later. One time I forgot to take it to work with me and 10 hours later my tea was still lukewarm.

QUESTION: DOES IT FIT IN A STANDARD CAR CUP HOLDER?
• Yes
• It does, but it is too tall with the lid on to fit in the front of my car. :)
• yes
• Hello Lauren - Wendy from Tall Ridge here - Thank you for your inquiry! It depends on the size of your cup holder as they vary in size. The best way is to measure the diameter of your cup holder and compare with the diameter of your Hydro Flask. The exterior dimensions of the 24 ounce Standard Mouth Hydro Flask are a follows: Diameter is 2.87 inches, Bottle Height (without cap) is 10.1 inches, Bottle Height (with cap) is 11.6 inches.
• yes
#Hydro_Flask

QUESTION: IS THIS WATER BOTTLE LEAK-PROOF?
• Yes
• Yes, as long as you screw it tight.
• I haven't had any problems with leaks. The caps have a rubber liner that prevents leaks. This is hands down the best water bottle I've purchased. Highly recommend it.
• I have not had any problems with in yet. I carry almond milk, hot tea and water in mine all the time. Don't have a problem just putting in my purse or backpack.
• Yes it is leak proof.
• It's leak proof as long as it's the standard cap shown in the pic, which has no holes but can be annoying twisting on and off. They also offer different types of cap, such as Sports top that I love. So nice to drink out of but sad to say it's not leak proof. If you get the regular cap that comes with the bottle, just simple design to twist on/off you won't need to worry about water spill.
• yes it is! we love this bottle!
• Yes it is. I have two bottles (12 oz and 32 oz) and have not had any spills. I have noticed if you fill the 12 oz bottle too high and put the cap on, some water may come out when screwing the lid on. But that's only because it was filled past the fill line which is my fault from being in a hurry.

QUESTION: I HAVE A STANDARD ICE MAKER IN MY FRIDGE/FREEZER THAT MAKES "HALF MOON" SHAPED ICE CUBES. WILL THESE FIT IN THE STANDARD MOUTH BOTTLE? THANKS.
• YES! And that is one of the things I love most about this bottle. Wide opening at the top for ice cubes. :-)
• Yes, they will fit for the narrow and standard mouth! You will love it!
• It fits perfectly! That is what I have too!
• It will fit in the standard hydroflask opening. There is a narrow mouth opening for the hydroflask (which my husband has) and the half moon ice cubes fit, but with difficulty.
• Yes
#Hydro_Flask_Review

QUESTION: DOES THE WHITE GET DIRTY?
• It's a durable powder coat, so any of the colors will hold up better than the stainless. The white has stayed white on mine very well over the last year or so.
• It will if scratched on hard surfaces. My boy dropped it to concrete ground several time at a summer camp and it shows.
• I hiked 500 miles across Europe with my White Hydro Flask hanging outside of my pack. Still looks new, dirt washes off easy.
• The white seems to stay white. The finish is pretty durable. It looks like you could give it a bit of a scrub without damaging it.
• Just as any white object will show dirt. Just keep your hands clean and wash it if it looks dirty. I've been happy with mine.
• We did not have a problem with it getting dirty, but the paint just chips off even when it is not dropped or anything abusive like that. We contacted Hydro Flask about it and were told that it would not be covered under the warranty. For this reason we no longer buy this brand but instead buy the Lifeline - Fifty Fifty bottles which are cheaper, work just as well, and use the same caps and lids as the Hydro Flask.

QUESTION: WILL THIS FIT IN BICYCLE BOTTLE HOLDER
• Hello Matthew - Wendy from Tall Ridge here - Thank you for your inquiry!
• It may be too tall, depending on where your cage sits. Diameter size it would fit.
#Hydro_Flask

QUESTION: CAN YOU PUT POP IN THIS
• I've never put soda in mine, but I have used wine before! During the summer and I added ice, kept my wine nice and cold. I'm sure you could put any liquid in it that your heart desires. :)
• Yes, you can put any beverage in it. Just make sure to clean it when you're done so it doesn't smell :)
• Hello Susie - Wendy from Tall Ridge here - Hydro Flask bottles and True Pints are great for all beverages!
• I don't know. I think you'd be better off with a polypropylene bottle for soda. I would think the acidity of the soda would be bad in a metal container like this one. Polypropylene bottles have a # 5 recycling code and are bpa free. It's what Rubbermade containers are made of.
• I've only put milk, water, and Gatorade in ours. It works GREAT! I would think pop would too.
• yes, but make sure you rinse or wash it out before using water or a different drink again. keeps cold drinks cold....it is a lifesaver is Disney!
• I wouldn't. The carbonation will cause pressure in the canister once the lid is on. It is much better for non-carbonated drinks.
#Vacuum_Insulated_Stainless

QUESTION: I JUST BOUGHT THE STANDARD MOUTH BOTTLE. MY NOSE HITS THE TOP WHEN I DRINK. SHOULD I TRY THE SMALLER MOUTH? WILL ICE CUBES FIT IN IT?
• My nose hits too but I didn't even notice until I read this. Haha! I use the hydro flask sport cap (sold separately) so I don't ever drink right from the bottle. I love that cap. I don't think standard ice cubes fit in the smaller one. Try reading the reviews for that product. Good luck!
• Yes! Ice cubes do fit. Bought this for my teenage children and they live it!
#Hydro_Flask_Review

QUESTION: IS THE PICTURE CORRECT HERE? IS IT 7.7" HIGH X 2.8" DIAMETER? THIS BOTTLE LOOKS TALLER AND SKINNIER THAN THE OTHER 12 OZ HYDROFLASKS.
• I don't have it right in front of me to take the exact measurements, but you're right..the picture that's up right now (12/04/2014) is deceiving. It makes it look much taller than it is. I purchased this one just the other day, & it is the exact same size as my other 12 oz Hydroflask...same dimensions. Hope that helps!
• Yes, those are the dimensions for the 12 oz Hydroflask I bought. The picture looks like the larger size they sell.
• No mine looks shorter and wider than that picture, should look more like a coke can
• I think this is the wrong picture.
• The picture is misleading. It is 7.7 high x 2.8 diameter. More short and squatty. Perfect for a child. I bought it for my 10 year old.
• The picture shown (as of 2/9/15) is of the 21oz taller version (written near bottom of bottle). The 12oz is about half the size. I'm actually here ordering a 12oz after being so pleased with my 21oz (shown in picture). Great water bottle.

QUESTION: OKAY, SO IT SAYS LIFETIME WARRANTY? I JUST PURCHASED MINE, AND ITS ALREADY ALL SCRATCHED UP..HOW CAN I GET A NEW ONE?
• You can read more here: http://www.hydroflask.com/lifetime_warranty
• You can try to call them or submit a replacement request on their web site. However, as it happens to me, they may not respond to your request. I called and they said they will send me a label to mail the rusty one, they never did.

QUESTION: IS IT TRUE THAT THE 24 OZ STANDARD MOUTH MEASURES 8X3X3 WHICH IS SMALLER OR COMPACT COMPARED TO 18 & 21OZ?
• Hello Liz - Wendy from Tall Ridge here - Thank you for your inquiry. The exterior dimensions of the 18 ounce Standard Mouth Hydro Flask are a follows: Diameter is 2.87 inches, Bottle Height (without cap) is 8 inches, Bottle Height (with cap) is 9.2 inches. The exterior dimensions of the 21 ounce Standard Mouth Hydro Flask are a follows: Diameter is 2.87 inches, Bottle Height (without cap) is 8.8 inches, Bottle Height (with cap) is 10.7 inches. The exterior dimensions of the 24 ounce Standard Mouth Hydro Flask are a follows: Diameter is 2.87 inches, Bottle Height (without cap) is 10.1 inches, Bottle Height (with cap) is 11.6 inches. I hope this information helps you!
• Yes 24 oz is perfect tbh. It doesn't scratch or dent easily and keeps everything hot and cold. I love mine, it's really got me drinking a lot more water recently. And the top does get smaller from the body size. Not like the other giant one.
#Vacuum_Insulated_Stainless

QUESTION: CAN YOU DESCRIBE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE COLORS LYCHEE RED AND LAVA?
• I can't because I don't own either of those but I can say the lychee doesn't come in 12oz
• Diane that's a good question. I noticed the difference between the two colors is the lychee red is a little bit of a darker red than the lava red. I hope this helps you. Either one you pick yOu will not be disappointed with the product.

QUESTION: IS THE LID LEAKPROOF?
• I've been carrying it in my bag almost everyday for about year now. Never had leaking problem.
• Yes, I have not had any problems with it leaking when it is secured.
• Yes
• 3+ months and 100% leakproof so far. I kept this in my backpack at Disney World for a week without any leaks. I've used it pretty much every day at work and in the car since then and haven't had a single leak. I'm very impressed with Hydroflask and bought several of their products since.
• so far it is, but i usually keep my bottle straight up in a bottle holder in my gym bag so its not really rolling around too much...
• Yes. You can toss it in a bad without worrying it'll leak
• Hello Brian - Shannon from Tall Ridge here - Yes, the Standard Mouth Loop Cap is leak proof. Please let us know if we can be of any other assistance.
• I don't ever notice ours spilling. I have purchased two for my household and have had no issues.
#Hydro_Flask_Vacuum_Insulated_Stainless

QUESTION: WHATS THE DIAMETER OF THE 24 OZ BOTTLE?
• Hello Jonathan - Wendy from Tall Ridge here - The exterior dimensions of the 24 ounce Standard Mouth Hydro Flask are a follows: Diameter is 2.87 inches, Bottle Height (without cap) is 10.1 inches, Bottle Height (with cap) is 11.6 inches.
• The diameter is 2 7/8"
• The actual opening is 1 3/4". The mouth is slightly wider because of the rim.
#Hydro_Flask

QUESTION: IS IT DISHWASHER SAFE?
• Hello CandyLZ - Wendy from Tall Ridge here - Thank you for your inquiry! It is not recommended to wash the Hydro Flask in the dishwasher. The dishwasher can get hot enough to affect the insulation property of the flask as well as discolor the powder coat. Similarly, soaking your entire flask in hot water can discolor the powder coat. We recommend hand washing them with hot, soapy water, rinsing and allowing them to dry. You can find more information on caring for you flask at the following link: http://www.hydroflask.com/caring-for-your-hydro-flask
• I am not certain. I typically just handwash my water bottles because I use them so often.
• I don't think so. Everyone I've heard of rinses it out with hot water and a teensy tinsy bit of dishwashing liquid.
• No, it says "hand wash only". And, because of its long, narrow shape, a dishwasher probably wouldn't get the inside very clean.
#Vacuum_Insulated_Stainless

QUESTION: WHAT IS THE DIAMETER OF THE STANDARD MOUTH OF THIS BOTTLE?
• 1 1/2 inches by memory. But since I just filled it up this morning, that's pretty decent. :-) It is big enough to fit ice maker ice cubes (half-moon shape) through for sure.
• I'm measuring it now. The actual opening of the mouth is about 1 3/4". If you measure from rim to rim, it's slightly wider, just under 2 inches.
#Hydro_Flask_Review

QUESTION: IS IT EASY TO DRINK COFFEE/HOT STUFF DIRECTLY?
• Sorry im using it only for cold drinks.
• fairly..it is a twist cap so it's not as fast as having an opening on top. However,it keeps my coffee warm until mid-late afternoon.you can always but another cap
• We have yet to drink anything hot.
• I have use it for only cold water but i am pretty sure it is. If you have more qustions cantact hydro . They are so helpful.
• I like the wide-mouth for hot drinks. You can see where the liquid is and is easier to gauge how much to tilt your flask so you don't burn yourself.
• I only use it for ice water and it is Very Good. Keeps water cold for 16-24 hours. If you use it for hot coffee, I would think you have to be very careful because it has a wide mouth and you have to control the liquid flow with extreme care. I would suggest you buy one with the flip lid. I think this standard lid is more suitable for cold drinks.
#Hydro_Flask_Vacuum_Insulated_Stainless

QUESTION: WHAT SHADE IS THE GREEEN ZEN BOTTLE? SOME ONLINE PICTURES SHOW IT TURQUOISE, OTHERS MINT, OTHERS DARK FOREST.
• The one we got is definitely more towards the dark forrest green vs. being turquoise or mint.
• definitely not mint and definitely not forest - somewhere in between. I think a good shade comparison would be the dark green on a dollar bill.
#Hydro_Flask

QUESTION: WILL THIS BE SAFE TO PUT MILK IN FOR MY SON WHILE TRAVELING TO KEEP THE MILK COOL?
• I put milk in it for my grandson, and it stayed cold during our trip of about 3 hours. I'm sure it would have stayed cold longer.
• I have not put milk in it but I have put warm water to use for my daughters formula, the water stayed warm for 3 hours, might have stayed longer but that's when I needed it. When you say milk, formula milk or just regular milk. I can test it for you overnight, see how long it stayed cold
• I would not! I had been told by someone that it was useful for that purpose, but when I tested the temperatures with it sitting on my counter at home and not being opened, the milk temperature rose 12 degrees in 11 hours, about half of the time they claim the product should keep liquid cold.
• Yes. It will keep the milk cool for maybe 3-4 hours.
• Most drinks I have put in the flask remains cold for 24 hours.
#Vacuum_Insulated_Stainless

QUESTION: IS THE MOUTH LARGE ENOUGH ON THE STANDARD MOUTH FLASK TO PUT ICE IN IT?
• Yes, depending on the ice tray that you use
• Sure is.
• Depends on the size of the cubes. i've also found that there could be a better lip design at the cap. when i pour milk from it, it has a tendency to drip down the side of the bottle.
• Yes it is
#Hydro_Flask_Review

QUESTION: IS THE SMALL MOUTH BOTTLE STILL EASY TO GET ICE IN?
• Yes. It works great with the ice from my ice maker at home and it also works great for ice dispensers in hotel chains.
• Yes, I'm able to get the regular (cylinder type) ice in there without any issues. And stays cold for a very long time!
• Yes you can get it in still but you can't do it right from the refrigerator dispenser..you have to hand drop in each piece. Still worth it. It stays cold ALL day ; )
• Yes. long as ice cube is huge.
• Smaller to medium sized ice cubes fit no problem. My ice maker ice works.
• Yes I do all the time. Not huge chunks. From my ice machine or bagged.
• It is fairly easy to get ice into the mouth of the bottle. I put in cubes one at a time, but would not put it under an ice maker. I will still have ice in my drink if I leave it for over 30 hours in a hot car so you don't need a lot of ice.

QUESTION: ARE THERE ANY OTHER CAPS THAT CAN FIT WITH THIS LIKE STRAW OR SPORT CAP?
• There are other lids, however I don't think there's one with a straw.
• The Klean Kanteen Sport Cap 3.0 fits the Hydro Flask standard mouth bottles. They make a great combination!
• Yes the Klean kanteen sport cap with a spout. I got it for my kids

QUESTION: DOES THIS FIT IN A STANDARD CAR CUP HOLDER??
• It fits in my Toyota Highlander's cup holders.
• Hello Bob - Wendy from Tall Ridge here -Thank you for your inquiry!
• It fits in mine... sort of. Not all auto cup holders are the same, but I'd say the flask fill fit in all of them. I say sort of though because maybe my cup holders are just a bit larger, I drive a 2012 Ford Focus by the way, but making a turn can cause the flask to tip a bit. Doesn't really matter since it's capped but yeah... it wobbles a bit.

QUESTION: IS THE STANDARD 12 OZ BOTTLE LEAK PROOF? I WANT TO CARRY IT IN MY PURSE OR BACKPACK. THANKS.
• My son carries his in his school backpack. No leakage issues. This is a great product! We own 2
• As long as you have the lid on good it will not leak. I have had mine upside down and tossed around in the car with no problem

QUESTION: DOES IT FIT IN CUP HOLDER IN CAR?
• It fits perfectly in my cupholder
• Depends on the car. It probably fits most holders but since it is rather tall it is unstable unless the fit is tight or the holder is deep. Doesn't work well in my car, but I can wedge it into the door cup holder in my wife's car and it stays in place.
• It fits in my car cupholder. I have a Honda Civic.
• It does fit in my Jeep's cup holder, snug though.
• Hello Tony - Wendy from Tall Ridge here - Thank you for your inquiry!

QUESTION: I HAVE 2 24 OUNCE BOTTLES. BOTH HAVE BEEN DROPPED. CAN THAT EFFECT ABILITY TO KEEP WATER COLD?
• My bottle has been dropped several times and I haven't had any issues...water stays cold with ice cubes for over 24 hours.
• I've dropped mine two or three times and it seems to be keeping my water cold still.
#Hydro_Flask

QUESTION: ARE THESE LEAD FREE?
• Well I would have told you yes until I researched the issue and saw the reason for your concern. I have a friend connected to the company.... I will try to find out for you. Dave.noel@rocketmail.com
• good question! I have no idea.
• These are made of 18/8 stainless steel which is 18% chromium an 8% nickel. There is no lead in stainless steel. This of course assumes that the Chinese company that made these used actual stainless steel. I would hope that Hydro Flask has enough oversight of whoever manufactures these for them to ensure that is the case. I have had mine for 6 months now and keep water and tea in mine 80% of the time. There is no rust in the inner lining or on the outside. Also the flask is not magnetic which would be the case if it was tainted with lead. I don't work for the company, just a happy user of their product.
#Vacuum_Insulated_Stainless

QUESTION: IS THE INSIDE-LID MATERIAL MADE OF STAINLESS STEEL OR PLASTIC?
• The inside of the lid is stainless steel. They also have a stainless steel cap if vs the plastic one it comes with.
• The lid is all plastic.
• Plastic
• The inside of the bottle is stainless and the screw on cap is plastic.

Hydro Flask requires each of their factories to operate ethically, fairly, and to treat all of their employees with the utmost respect and dignity. QUESTION: DOES THIS STAY LEAKPROOF WHEN IN A PURSE OR BACKPACK?
• Yes, I've never had mine leak. I also use one for my toddler with the klean kanteen sippy cup top (http://www.amazon.com/Klean-Kanteen-Sippy-Bottle-Green/dp/B009F7Y0LY/ref=sr_1_28?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1433644195&sr=1-28&keywords=klean+kanteen) and it doesn't leak either. Keeps water/drink cold for a long time
• As long as you screw it on properly it wont leak.
• If you are using the regular lids, you're good. I would not trust the Wide Mouth Hydro Flip Lid and the Wide Mouth Straw Lid to be leak proof, however.
• Yes. I often carry it in my purse, backpack or tote bag--it's rarely upright and has never leaked.
• Yes, it's a screw on top with a rubber gasket.
• Yes! And the 12 oz is a great size for a purse!

QUESTION: DISHWASHER SAFE?
• I have never used a dishwasher for a hydroflask. NEVER use bleach. I think a bottle washer is superior to the dishwasher.
• No. I've top racked the body of the flask, and no harm came, but it says to hand wash.

QUESTION: WHERE IS IT MADE?
• Hello - Shannon from Tall Ridge here - Thank you for your inquiry! Hydro Flasks are made in China. Hydro Flask requires each of their factories to operate ethically, fairly, and to treat all of their employees with the utmost respect and dignity. To that end, their management team makes regular quality assurance visits to the factories in Asia to ensure that their high standards are achieved. In addition, they are constantly looking for opportunities to improve and grow their fair labor program to influence both change and knowledge. Hydro Flask works hard to make sure you receive only the highest quality stainless steel products that are built with the fairness, care, and dignity that can only come from someone proud to be a member of their extended family.
• Thanks.

QUESTION: WHY DO SOME OF THE PICTURES MAKE THIS 24 OZ LOOK SHORT AND CHUBBY AND OTHERS LEAN AND TALL? IS IT THE SAME BOTTLE OR TWO DIFFERENT DESIGNS WITH 24OZ?
• The 24oz is tall and skinny. I know some of the pictures for the colors do look short and fat, but I think that's just to display the color. The 24 oz is the largest hydroflaks that will fit in your car cup holder. I love it.
• From shopping around for Hydro Flasks, I believe they are two different styles, but both 24 oz. I preferred the tall skinny one as they fit in cup holders.
• It's not super tall, but not super short either. If you have seen a kids' Klean Kanteen before, this one is slightly taller than that.
• I believe those are just color swatches- the 24oz is tall and skinny.
• No one size the tall and lean one

QUESTION: IS THE LID STAINLESS STEEL AS WELL? I WOULD LIKE TO USE IT WITH ESSENTIAL OILS AND THE OILS SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY CONTACT WITH ANY TYPE OF PLASTIC.
• No it is not, I would not recommend using EO in them. It is plastic feeling to me, no metal on the lid
• No it is screw on plastic. At least it is with the big mouth one
• Hello Christine - Wendy from Tall Ridge here - Thank you for your inquiry! The lids/caps are made of durable polypropylene PP#5 and is BPA free. You could try using the Hydro Flask Standard Mouth Flat Cap. Some people never want their liquids to be in contact with plastic, so Hydro Flask created this bottle cap. With a durable polypropylene PP#5 top and inner threading made from 18/8 stainless steel. I hope that helps!

QUESTION: DOES THIS BOTTLE SWEAT WHEN SOMETHING COLD IS IN IT FOR A WHILE?
• I have not found that to be the case with mine... they stay dry on the outside, cold on the inside!
• No, it doesn't sweat.
• sweat free :)
• I've never noticed it sweating, but I do have the painted version AND I usually keep mine in one of those BUILTNY neoprene sleeves. I would highly recommend one of those, so if you drop the bottle (or are worried about sweating) it won't dent (or get other things wet.) I have been using them together for almost 5 years and they have been SO worth the cost.
• I have never seen this happen. I have used several sizes for several years.
• No, it doesn't sweat when something cold is in it for a while.
