QUESTION: HOW DO YOU TAKE OFF REGULAR LID TO PUT ON STRAW LID?
• Pull it off. It stretches over the top
• Hello, All you will need to do is pull it off. Thank You, Jarrett
• Just as the regular lid twists on, so does the lid with the straw.
• As if you were going to fill it, leave regular lid off and screw on straw lid. Follow measurement indication on package for length. Cut according to size of hydro flask container. Is this what your getting at?
• Unscrew the old lid which is tethered with a ring to the collar of the bottle. This ring will stretch over the collar so you can remove the old lid entirely. Then screw on the new lid. Be careful you don't stretch the ring too much in case you want to use the old lid again.
• Just twist off the wide mouth lid and pull off the black attachment. It just snaps right off. You may need to cut the straw to the size of your hydroflask to fit.
• it unscrews.
• The lid unscrews and it is easy to put the straw on. I don't use the straw anyways so it is just optional, I just tilt the bottle back and it works great
• The best way to remove the plastic ring that is still attached to your flask is to use a flathead screwdriver. You use it to gently insert under the ring and begin working it up over the lip of the flask. If you are careful, you shouldn't have to gouge the flask at all with the tip of the screwdriver. A butter knife would also work. If you need to ask for assistance it's fairly easy to have one person hold the flask and the other person use the tool to remove the ring. Once the ring is removed you will be able to use your thumbs to run along the ring and pull down on the part that attaches to the actual lid itself to snap the lid into place.

QUESTION: CAN THIS FIT THE 12 OUNCE?
• Nope, only the wide mouth double insulated
• The answer is no. The 12 ounce is a "standard" mouth, not a wide mouth, as illustrated at the hydro flask website.
• You can cut the straws so that they fit any size. They even give you an extra straw! =)
• Does it have the same wide mouth? It should say in the details on the lid
• sorry I do not own the 12oz so I couldn't tell you for sure if it will fit. I think in the description it tells you which sizes it will fit.
• Don't know!
• They have 2 different size tips. I know it fits the 18 oz the 30 oz and the 64 oz that I have.
#Hydro_Flask

QUESTION: DOES THIS FIT THE 32 OZ? AND IS IT LEAK PROOF?
• It's one size fits all bottles. Buy more than 1. Keeping them clean wares out the nozzle.
• Yes, it will fit the 32 oz wide mouth. The packaging has a diagram to show how much to cut on the straw portion. Also, it's been fairly leak proof so far.
• I am using it for the 40 ounce and it is somewhat leak proof. I have had many straw lids before and this is the first one I can't suck any water out without taking off the lid
• Yes!
• Yes it fits the 32 oz. I love my hydro flask and this top hasn't leaked yet. Its easy to clean and easy to open and close.
• Hello Kole - Wendy from Tall Ridge here - Thank you for your inquiry! ALL the Hydro Flask Wide Mouth Lids/Caps with fit ANY of the Hydro Flask Wide Mouth bottles. So, yes, this Lid will fit your 32oz Hydro Flask bottle. It is not leak proof just leak resistant, however, I use mine every day and have never had an issue. The only time I saw a potential for leaking was when there was liquid trapped in the mouth piece when closed.
• The Straw lid will fit any "Wide Mouth" Hydro Flask. I don't have a 32 oz one but it fits my 18 oz as well as my 40 oz Hydro Flask. And yes, if you have it properly attached and the straw mouthpiece securely down all the way it is leak proof. Let me say that this is the best lid and I can't live without mine. Hope that helps!
• Yes it fits 32oz big mouth. Yes it leaks a bit when in closed position and upside down.
#Wide_Mouth_Straw

QUESTION: HAS ANYONE USED THE THIS TOP (WITHOUT THE STRAW) FOR HOT DRINKS? I JUST MOVED FROM THE 18 TO THE 32 OZ AND THE FLIP TOP IS LEAKING.
• No
• No
• Yes
• No
• I have not used this without the straw. But I was having a hard time lining up the threads and tightening the cap when I first got it. I had to sort of break it in and now it goes on easier and tight. No leaking problems. Maybe you got a defective one? You should try to return it and get a new one. Hope it works out for you.
• Yes
• Honestly I have only used my flask for cold drinks. It should not leak however. The top may be defective.
#Hydro_Flask_Review

QUESTION: ARE THESE AUTHENTIC HYDROFLASK OR KNOCK OFFS?
• They are authentic Hydro Flask.
• It is my opinion after getting my order they are knock offs. Do they fit the bottle yes. Do they serve the purpose yes. But they are knock offs.
• Authentic.
• They seem to be the same as the ones I bought at REI. I can put ice water in at 3pm, and at 9 the next morning I still have ice.
• They are authentic. This is what I got when I purchased from Amazon - http://www.hydroflask.com/straw-lid#92=19. The stock seems to be low through Amazon sellers at the moment and they are price gouging. Buy it direct from HydoFlask.
• Mine works great, and I believe it is authentic!
• These are the real thing and they're amazing!!
• There is no definitive answer to this question because these lids are being sold by many different sellers here on Amazon. So it's possible that all the sellers are shipping authentic lids, but it's also possible that one or more sellers are shipping knock offs. Therefore, it depends on which seller you get it from. The best thing to do is inspect the lid you receive, and if there's a problem, contact Amazon. They're usually pretty good about making things right. Also, check the seller's rating before buying and select only sellers with a good feedback rating. You can look at all the different sellers shipping the lids by clicking on "Used & New" link next to "Other Sellers on Amazon".

QUESTION: WILL THIS FIT ANY OTHER BOTTLE BESIDES A HYDRO FLASK? SPECFICALLY NALGENE.
• Don't know about a Nalgene bottle, but it does fit my Lifeline bottle perfectly.
• It does not fit nalgene
• Yes, it will fit the Kleen Kanteen wide mouth bottle. The straw will have to be custom cut slightly shorter than the measurement show on the packaging.
• Cut the straw a little and it will work on Nalgene.. Funny story, at work someone stole a Hydro Flask lid and replaced it with a Nalgene lid.. It worked great and we didn't notice it until a customer brought it to us.
#Hydro_Flask

QUESTION: SHOULD MY GROWLER BE LEAKING WHEN TURNED ON IT'S SIDE WITH THIS LID/STRAW ATTACHED OR DO I HAVE A FAULTY LID?
• I purchased two of these lids for both the 64oz Growler and 40oz bottle. Neither of the lids leak on either bottle. I would guess that you may have been unlucky and received a faulty lid, or it was not threaded onto the bottle properly.
• As long as the flap is closed you can turn it upside down and it will not leak. SEND IT BACK! Good luck, Mike
• I have a 40 oz Hydro Flask with the lid/straw attachment and I have not experienced any problems with leaking while the attachment is in the closed position. If yours leaks, you may have a faulty attachment.
• No it shouldn't leak. Try fighting up the lid when closing and try push the straw all the way cause that's what I had when I first had
• The straw lid does leak. It is really designed to be upright. It's the one downside.
• My 40oz is very often kept on its side and hasn't leaked so far
• You have a faulty lid. Mine does not leak when it is on its side.
• your lid should definitely not be leaking, I do know sometimes that my lid will gather a few drops around the edge when I first put it on but its not a leak... after the drop or two comes out from when I first tighten the lid down on the rim it doesn't drip anymore.
• mine doesn't, could be faulty or incorrectly screwed on???
• Likely a faulty lid. Good luck
#Wide_Mouth_Straw

QUESTION: CAN THIS LID BE USED WITHOUT THE STRAW ATTACHMENT SO THAT IT WILL ACT MORE LIKE A SPORTS BOTTLE?
• Yes, you can remove the straw, and use this lid in tip-and-sip mode...
• Yes it can be used without straw, That is the way I prefer to use it.
• Yes it can be used without straw, That is the way I prefer to use it. My wife however, likes to use the straw on hers
• Yes. It comes with a basic screw on lid. I prefer the attachment with straw for children.
• No, the straw is attached. I think thy make one that's like a sports bottle lid.
#Hydro_Flask_Review

QUESTION: IS THIS THE TYPE OF STRAW YOU CAN SIP OUT OF OR DO YOU HAVE TO PICK UP THE BOTTLE AND TIP IT UP TO DRINK OUT OF IT?
• You don't have to tip the bottle.
• You do not need to tip it. There is an actual straw that attaches to the underside of the mouth piece. If you don't use that then you would need to pick it up & tip it.
• You can just sip out of it. You don't have to tip the bottle at all!
• You can sip from it.
• You do not have to tip it. And you get 2 straws with the lid.
• This top is great! You just flip it up, and sip. I hated using the original because for some reason, I found it sloppy to drink from it by tipping it up. Consequently I wasn't using my flask. This item allows me to sip while driving, and in appointments, etc. It's now my companion. This also comes with an additional straw. Ease of clean up too. I highly recommend.
• Hello GF Girl - Wendy from Tall Ridge here - Thank you for your inquiry! You will not need to tip the Hydro Flask bottle over in order to drink through the straw.
• You do not need to tilt or tip this to drink the straw is long enough to drink to the last drop with it sitting flat and requires no hands no tilting at all
• You can pick it up, filp open the lid and drink from the straw without tipping your flask, Iam very happy with mine I have used it almost every day
#Hydro_Flask_Wide_Mouth_Straw

QUESTION: HAS ANYONE ELSE NOTICED THAT DRINKS DON'T STAY COLD AS LONG WHILE USING THIS CAP VERSUS THE ORIGINAL CAP?
• A little of that is to be expected since this lid is not as insulated as the original one, but for most people the slight difference is worth the convenience.
• I've not used the regular cap, but my drinks are always always cold with the straw cap. Do you close the straw and not leave it open when not in use? That might help.
• Haven't noticed it loosing temp....I notice I drink more with this lid
#Hydro_Flask

QUESTION: DOES IT SEAL WITHOUT LEAKING WITH THE STRAW IN IT
• No leaks so far... I have not filled it up and layed it on its side yet? I really like the add on it works great for me!
• 100% seals. Haven't had a problem in over a year and it is used literally every day. It can't fit in the cup holders in my car so it lies on it's side on the seat next to me. No leaks. Ever.
• It has been my experience yes...only worry is..after I put it in the dish washer it sweats...and I don't think it is supposed to.
• no leakage but straw keeps falling into bottle
• Pretty good to not leak. My kids have been carrying them daily for 7 months and it seems like one is starting to be sensitive. It works better than anything else we have tried, but I do try to make sure they are in an upright position.
• I have not had a problem with my flask leaking with the straw lid. The flip lip does allow water to leak out because of the way it works.
• We have had it for a month or so and still no leaking. It works great!
• My lid leaks a lot when the growler is on it's side. I'm wondering myself if I have a faulty lid or this is just what happens because of the design.
• I routinely lay my bottle on it's side in the car, the only time it leaked was the day I forgot to close it before setting it down.
#Wide_Mouth_Straw

QUESTION: HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOU'RE BUYING THE NEW VERSION WITH THE LID BEING MORE PLASTIC SO YOU CAN'T BITE THROUGH THE LID? BOUGHT ONE 6/6/15
• It is a harder more substantial plastic. You would only know if you buy it and bite it softly.
• My sons girlfriend that happened to. I have bought 6 more for my friends and family and it had not happened to any of those. I love it. Best straw ever. I'm glad I didn't get one of the original ones I want to bum me out. Likely the others turned out great. Go for it!
#Hydro_Flask_Review

QUESTION: CAN YOU USE THIS LID WITHOUT THE STRAW? I HATE STRAWS BUT LOVE THE IDEA THAT I CAN JUST TIP IT LIKE A WATER BOTTLE...WILL IT WORK THAT WAY?
• Hey, I have accidently forgotten the straw a couple times and you can, you just have to tip the bottle back.
• Yes you can use this lid without the straw, I own the 40 oz version of the Hydro flask and I use the same exact lid without the straw everyday.
• Yes you can, but will need to tip the Hydro Flask to have a drink.
• No. Sorry
• Yeah, but it wouldn't work well. There is a vent hole that would dribble on you. If you sealed the hole, it would be ok. I think hydroflask offers one without the straw.
• Yes
• I would probably go with the regular flip cap in that case.
• Hello - Shannon from Tall Ridge here - Thank you for your inquiry. The lid can be used without the straw, however Hydro Flask does not recommend it. It may leak when you tilt it back. Hydro Flask also makes a Flip Lid Top. It features a flip-top opening with rubber stopper to plug the opening and help prevent spills when not in use. Hydro Flask Wide Mouth Flip Lid, Black Please let us know if you have any further questions.
#Hydro_Flask_Wide_Mouth_Straw

QUESTION: WILL THIS FIT MY 24 OZ
• I use it on my 18 & 40 0z hydroflask. It only works on wide mouth versions. If yours came with the flip top lid it should work.
• Not sure. I have 40 oz.
• As long as it's a wide mouth
• I own the 2 liter flask and it fits mine. I was under the impression that Hydro made all their bottles with the same size mouth.
• I'm not sure which 24 oz you have, but this is for the wide mouth cans. The straw can be trimmed to the right size with just a pair of scissors.
#Hydro_Flask

QUESTION: WILL THIS CAP FIT OTHER BOTTLES, SPECIFICALLY A QUENCH 32 OZ BOTTLE?
• This cap fits the HYDRO FLASK 32oz, we are not compatible with any other brand.
• Hydroflask caps are not compatible with any other brand.
• I am a huge hydro flask fan but all these sellers saying they aren't compatible with other brands is simply not true.. I have TONS of generic style Hydro Flask and use Hydro Flask brand lids on them all the time.. I don't own the quench 32 so I can't comment on that BUT I do own a simply modern 32 and it fits GREAT on it.. I also own a Klear 32 and again fits great.. Again, these sellers saying it doesn't fit are simply trying to sell you a Hydro Flask.. I love Hydro Flask and own several but I know they don't fit in everyone's budget BTW, looking at you Hydro Flask, Klean Canteen makes better lids than you do for your Standard Mouth bottle so I use their lids on your Standard bottles all the time I know this is an old question but it is a "Top" question meaning it is very popular and people look for this answer a lot
• Hello B, This cap is only designed for the Hydro Flask bottles. I cant recommend you using it on a different product. Thank You, Jarrett
#Wide_Mouth_Straw

QUESTION: HAS ANY ONE TRIED ANY STAINLESS STEEL STRAW AS A REPLACEMENT OF THE PLASTIC ONE?
• Hello, I have not but as long as it fits you should be good to go. Thank You, Jarrett
• I'm sorry, but I do not have an answer for that question. But let us know how it works if you try it so we can pass that information on.
• Nope- we haven't. We haven't had any issues with the straws they came with.
• did you find one that fits? i had the same question.
#Hydro_Flask_Review

QUESTION: DOES THIS STRAW LID FIT THE 32OZ BOTTLE?
• Yes. The instructions that come with the straw lid state that if you have the 32 oz bottle, you might have to cut the straw down to size, but the lid fits just as well.
• It fits any wide mouth hydroflask. They send you two straws in the pack and you can cut them to fit the bottle. I have a 40oz and a16oz so I cut one straw for the 16oz and the other one fits in my 40oz bottle without having to cut it.
• Yes, It includes directions to cut the straw to length to fit any wide mouth hydro flask. Mine is a 32oz also.
• Yes, I believe it does. You might just have to cut the straw, as long has you have the wide mouth bottle.
• Yes. I have the 32oz bottle and it fits just fine (as long as you have the wide mouth version). The straw comes with recommended cutting sizes to fit the bottles but the 32oz size isn't on there. I'd recommend cutting it longer and then trim as necessary - the perfect length for me was somewhere in between the two lengths they suggested.
• I don't have a 32oz although I am thinking of getting one. Check the measurement of the mouth. it should be the same.
#Hydro_Flask_Wide_Mouth_Straw

QUESTION: IS THE LID DISHWASHER SAFE?
• Yes it it
• Yes I put the lid and straw in the dishwasher just not the hydro flask itself.
• Yes it is, here is the proper care for your hydro flask. http://www.hydroflask.com/caring-for-your-hydro-flask/
• Yes it is
• But I'd rather wash by hand.
• Totally safe in the dishwasher on the top shelf no issues
• It is but I don't recommend. I have 2 hydro flasks and only hand wash.
#Hydro_Flask

QUESTION: IS IT EASY TO DISCONNECT THE STRAW TO WASH IT?
• Yes. It takes some patients to get it back on, but that is good because it is leak proof. I don't take the straw out every time I wash it because I only drink water through it so nothing builds up. I let the whole thing, cap and straw, soak in hot soapy water then rinse it out really good and let it dry overnight. It is an awesome product.
• Yes, it just pulls off. The lid comes with two straws so you can replace it easily if it wears out.
• Absolutely! Simply pull to disconnect from the bib and you're good to go.
• The actual straw comes right off, the top flip piece is a little trickier. I use hot water & a scrub brush & it works fine. I love mine!!!
• Yes-just like any other straw I have bought and used.
• Yes. The straw pops right off. If I remember right it even came with a replacement straw. The hard part to clean is the mouth piece. You'd probably need a small bristle brush, like the kind they make for cleaning baby bottle nipples.
• yes it is but the straw tends to stretch after a while.
#Wide_Mouth_Straw

QUESTION: WE HAVE HAD TO ORDER 3 NEW TOPS. THE STRAW TOP KEEPS TURNING BLACKISH BROWN! CANNOT GET THIS CLEAN. NO ONE CAN TELL US INFO ON THIS. CAN Y'ALL?
• I have not had an issue at this time. What part turns blackish brown!? I only use mine for water
• I purchased a OXO Good Grips Water Bottle Cleaning Set which works great there's a tool for the straw, lid and flask. I recommend cleaning on a regular if drinking soda or coffee.
#Hydro_Flask_Review

QUESTION: IS THIS THE STRAW LID FOR THE OLD OR NEW MODEL?
• Claudia, honestly can not answer this question as I am not sure when the models changed. I bought my flask around 2-3 months ago and I know it fits that. Lately in the last week or so it hasn't worked to well, delivering a poor flow, seems like it managed to get misaligned or something. Don't get me wrong, still use it, still works, just not like it should and I still recommend the whole thing. 80 degrees with my flask in the sun and water was still cool. A great product, the straw lid is just not the perfect product and as I said, I can only state for sure it fits the new(?) flask.
• Hello! I recently bought the bottle so I am unaware of any changes to the bottle but would have to say it was new model if anything that I purchased.
• I am new to Hydro Flask and just bought two this week and it fits on my 40oz and 32oz. You can always check on their website under "accessories" and it should tell you if it will fit an older model. Hope that helps.
#Hydro_Flask_Wide_Mouth_Straw

QUESTION: AMAZON, WHY ARE SELLING THIS LID FOR SO MUCH MORE THAN THE COMPANY ITSELF IS, AND ALL THE OTHER RETAILERS? THEY ALL ARE ASKING JUST, $6.95.
• At my local store, these sell out within a couple days. I'm guessing there's a supply & demand issue here. If you can find them for $6.95, pick it up.
• One seller is selling for $9.99 with free Prine shipping. That's not bad. Probably costs more to buy one, shipped, from the company.
#Hydro_Flask

QUESTION: I HAVE THIS LID AND LOVE IT, BUT I HAVE LOST MY STRAWS. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN PURCHASE JUST THE STRAWS OR USE A DIFFERENT BRAND FOR STRAWS?
• Hello - Shannon from Tall Ridge here - Thank you for your inquiry! Unfortunately, the straws are not sold alone. You should be able to contact Hydro Flask for warranty replacement on the straws. Lifetime Warranty form: http://www.hydroflask.com/lifetime_warranty.
• check out your dollar store, lots of cheep water bottles use straws, make sure its large enough to stay put in your lid, the dollar store doesn't care what you do with it
• Im sorry I really dont know were to get replacement straws. I would try the hydroflask website first then maybe call customer service. I found that using the lid without straws works better for me. It has such a beter flow of water. Kinda like a sport bottle feel.
• Hello, They do not sell the just the straws. Thank You, Jarrett
• Hydroflask.com has all available accessories.
#Wide_Mouth_Straw

QUESTION: THE INSIDE OF MY FLIP TOP IS DEVELOPING BLACKISH MILDEW STAINS, ANY SUGGESTIONS HOW TO GET RID OF IT?
• Have you tried cleaning it with a baking soda and water mixture? Or you could soak it in a hydrogen peroxide water combo. Thanks for the heads up, i'll keep an eye on mine.
• Soak for 10 min in hot water and vinegar. Make your sure you rinse off and air sun dry
#Hydro_Flask_Review

QUESTION: HOW MUCH HEIGHT DOES THIS ADD TO A HYDO FLASK COMPARED TO THE STANDARD LID? ( WITH THE STRAW CLOSED)
• I didn't notice any difference at all and it makes it so much easier to use, especially if you have the large 40 oz.
• It adds a little less than an inch. Most of that is taken up by the tab to flip the lid open.
• Just about 1/4", very minimal
• Hello, It adds a little less than an inch. Most of that is taken up by the tab to flip the lid open. Thank You, Jarrett
• About 1/2 inch or so
• Just under an inch.
• It's difficult to measure, because of the size of the bottle and angling of this top. Considering the knob on top of the original top, there is not much of a difference in height. I'd say 1/2 inch or less. On a side note this is my new favorite top for these bottles. Though it is not guaranteed to be air tight, it is designed to be leakproof and and tends to hold except under signicant pressure. See my review.
• About 1/4"
#Hydro_Flask_Wide_Mouth_Straw

QUESTION: IS THE STRAW ITSELF BPA FREE OR JUST THE PLASTIC LID?
• Wow! That's great! Thanks for the information.
• I think that its a regular straw
• No clue... sounds like a question for HydroFlask or the vendor. When I get a terminal disease from drinking out of plastic that has BPA I'll probably start looking into that a little more. :)
#Hydro_Flask

QUESTION: CAN THE LID BE DISASSEMBLED AND CLEANED? OVER TIME I'M SURE THE SWIVEL PART WILL GET MUCKED UP WITH ALL KINDS OF BACTERIA. THANKS!
• The straw can come off but it can come apart at the tipping part. I use a baby bottle cleaner brush to clean mine, and once a month I will boil it clean. Had it 3 months and use tea in it every day.
• I'm not really sure, but in a matter of a week, it gets ucky IF you don't do a really good washing. I only drink structured water in mine, I refuse to mess up the straw and container with anything other then good filtered or structured water. I must tend to bite the swivel mouthpiece because mine looks gross. But I know it's just scratches. Too bad the caps are so expensive I would have 4 or 5 to alternate. Love the whole bottle. None better
• I take straw off, open the top, and put it in dish washer. We had trouble with one older flask, the new top would not screw on right
#Wide_Mouth_Straw

QUESTION: WHICH LIFELINE DOES THIS FIT? SLIM? OR OTHER?
• It fits the 40oz Hydro Flask. I swear by this! I own two for both of my Hydro Flasks.
• I purchased the 40oz. Has 13560 on the bottom of bottle.
• As long as it says wide mouth it will fit. You will have to cut the length to fit properly.
• The 40 ounce
#Hydro_Flask_Review

QUESTION: THE HYDRO FLASK COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL LID. IT'S HARD TO BE TAKEN OFF FROM THE BOTTLE. HOW CAN I CHANGE TO THE STRAW LID?
• It is simply a very well engineered lid that screws on very snug, for insulation purposes, I suspect. I have both lids, and the are both the same, as it pertains to screwing it on. Just don't snug it up so tight.
• You take the original lid off completely. When this product comes, you will have to insert the straw into the bottom of the new lid. Then you screw on the new lid with straw on the bottle and you should be good. If it is hard to get off then you are probably tightening the lid way too tight. It should just be snug.
• Put dish soap around the lip and pull on the lid. Mine came off without a problem.
• You need to have the wide mouth flask. Then you can purchase separately the lid with attached straw and it's easy to go back and forth between the different lids.

QUESTION: I NEED A FLIP STRAW LID TO FIT KLEEN KANTEEN 21 OZ. WHAT WILL WORK?
• Go to hydro flask web site and order on line
• If your Kleen Kanteen is a wide mouth, it will screw on. I've used the Kleen Kanteen and HydroFlask caps interchangeably, and the Fifty/Fifty brand of flasks will work with it too.
#Hydro_Flask

QUESTION: DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET THE MOLD OFF? IT IS DISGUSTING!
• I have that issue as well. I've tried denture cleaner, partial bleach soaking and scrubbing with a straw cleaner and nothing works! It must be because we live in the tropics! I bring it on the road with me when I go on errands, try to park underground at Ala Moana, etc., so it won't sit in the sun heating up in the car. Nothing will take out the black stains. I'm considering going back to the other flip top. My brother uses his indoors only and has had no problems.
• How are you getting it infected with mold? Are you using it for hot liquids? I use it with cold water only and have not had issues with mold yet. I would say that if its mold infected you could try soaking it in bleach and then throw in the dishwasher. The mold may have permanently stained it however.
• Mold from inside the straw? I have used a pipe cleaner and soap

QUESTION: CAN YOU REPLACE THE RUBBER PART THAT YOU SIP OUT OF? OR DO I NEED TO BUY A WHOLE NEW STRAW SET? MY BABY USED IT AS A TEETHING TOY AND NOW IT HAS HOLES
• Unfortunately, no. You will have to buy a new set.
• No - it doesn't seem like it comes off, and I don't see the mouth piece sold individually

QUESTION: IF I FILL MY NOTTLE UP TO THE TOP WITH OCE THAN WATER WILL THE STRAW STILL FOT?
• Sure, if you force it down through the ice. The straw needs to be close to the bottom to work.
• Hello Bryant - Wendy from Tall Ridge here - Thank you for your inquiry! I think with some maneuvering the straw will fit just fine. It will probably depend on the size and shape of the ice cubes.
• yes it will still fit. I fill mine up to the neck and have no issue fitting the straw in.
• Yes, I have had no problems with this. The straw is flexible enough to fit around ice clumps. You can also use this topper without a straw and just tip the bottle to drink from it.
• Of course you wouldn't be able to fill it all the way to the tip top of the bottle. However, I think your straw would fit it just fine. I prefer the starw over the screw top! Hope this helps!

QUESTION: AFTER USING THIS STRAW MOUTH CAP ALL ICE MELTS WITHIN AN HOUR! HAPPENS TO BOTH 64 OZ AND 40 OZ BOTTLES OF MINE. DOES IT HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE?
• I have used the straw cap on the both the 40 oz and the 64 oz with no problems. Been hiKing in AZ IN 100+ temps and still had ice after 12+ hours... In fact, my husband switched from the screw lod to the straw lid after trying mine out.
• No. My ice stays ice for 24 hours. Even in a hot car I keep a cold beverage all day. Sounds like you have a different issue.
• No. I've had my ice stay over night before.
• I don't think having the straw will allow for as great of a seal as the original top. I don't see too much of a difference but I don't use ice in mine (40oz) and I refill it multiple times a day so it keeps cold just fine for me.

QUESTION: WILL THIS WORK WITH HOT LIQUIDS IN THE HYDRO FLASK?
• Yes. I have used mine with both hot and cold and it has been great!
• Yes, up to 12 hours
• Yes.....I use it primarily for cold, because of the amount it holds.....but it will keep things hot or cold.

QUESTION: THERE IS NOW A 12 OZ WIDE MOUTH HYDRO FLASK BOTTLE. WILL THIS FIT IF THE STRAW IS CUT?
• The straw actually comes longer than needed for the 18oz. There is a guide on the packaging that showed where to cut it for the 18oz not sure for the 12oz but you can probably figure it out.
• Yes, it'll fit. They have a gauge on the packaging for cut points on the straw.
• I guess it depends on whether or not the opening is the same size as the larger flask
• Hello Kate - Wendy from Tall Ridge here - Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, The Wide Mouth Straw Lid will fit all ounce sizes of Hydro Flask Wide Mouth Bottles. The straws are longer then necessary for the 64 ounce and can be cut down with the accompanying guide to fit all the way down to the 12 ounce. Hope that helps!

• Hi there, Our products are not compatible with Sigg bottles. Happy Hydrating!

QUESTION: IS THERE A SILICONE SLEEVE FOR THE 40OZ HYDRO FLASK WATER BOTTLES?
• No. The inside surface is stainless steel. This container is made with a double layer of stainless steel separated by a tinny vacuum space except for the top edge where the surfaces are welded in a nearly seamless joint a long way from the hot/cold material if upright.
• Not that I'm aware of and I'm curious as to the purpose. If it's to quiet down the sound of the bottle clinking up against something else you could repurpose any neoprene item you're not using and make your own wrap if you sew at all. Simply cut it the same length as the main portion of your hydroflask and as wide as the the circumference of the bottle. Lay the two long edges side by side and use a zigzag stitch to make a cylinder.

QUESTION: DOES IT FIT THE 45 DEGREE 64 OZ BOTTLE?

QUESTION: DOES IT FIT A 21 OZ
• Yes, it does.
• Please message the seller, if you have older design it would not fit...however, for new design I have no idea...sorry!
• It will fit all Hydro Flask wide-mouth bottles. I'm pretty sure it'll fit other brands as well (but not 100% certain).
• Hello Amanda - Wendy from Tall Ridge here - Thank you for your inquiry. The Wide Mouth Straw Lid is made to fit the Hydro Flask Wide Mouth bottles. The Hydro Flask 21oz bottle is a Standard Mouth bottle so, unfortunately it will not fit.
• I apologize for the delay in answering your question. It fits all wide mouth Hydro Flask bottles. (I believe it is a 20 oz. not 21 oz. in wide mouth)
• If your 21 oz is a wide mouth, then yes it does.

QUESTION: HAS ANYONE USED THIS STRAW FOR SMOOTHIES? SEEMS LIKE IT WOULD BE A GOOD OPTION IF THE STRAW'S WIDE ENOUGH.
• yes these straws are wide and durable. I love it!
• Honestly no I havent used it for smoothies. In my opinion I dont think it will work that great for smoothies. The straw is somewhat wide but still not big enough for smoothies. Its about a 1/4 in opening. Plus unless your using a vitamix and drinkin watery smoothies it might clog up opening. I use this cap without the straws myself and love the water flow. I would suggest not using this for smoothies thats just my opinion, hope this helps.
• Never tried, should be fine. Just know it won't go through locked ice cubes inside the flask

• Hydro Flasks come in small and wide mouth. If you have a wide mouth any size it will fit. I have 3 sizes through 32oz and it fits all of them.
• Yes, as long as the bottle is the 'wide mouth' bottle. FYI I bought this lid and it wasn't an actual HydroFlask top. I sent it back and ordered directly from HF for less than I paid for this top
• There are 3 types of hydro Flask bottles narrow mouth, standard mouth and wide mouth. Hydro Flask wide mouth lids fit 18, 32 , 40 or 64 oz Wide Mouth bottle
• This will fit 12oz bottle with "Wide Mouth" opening.
• As long as its the wide mouth bottle and not the standard flask.

QUESTION: ARE THERE REALLY TWO COLOR OPTIONS? ORDERED BLACK BUT IT LOOKS GREY
• There is only one straw lid for hydro flask. It is listed under both black, and grey since it is both colors.
• Hello, It is black and grey. Please let us know if you have any further questions and we will be more than happy to help. Thank You, Jarrett
• Hydroflask only makes one straw lid at this point. It is black and grey. Please let us know if you have any further questions and we will be glad to help.
• The cap is made of two types of plastic: one is grey, one is black. So the answer is that the cap is both grey and black and we do not make it in any other color. Happy Hydrating!
