QUESTION: IS IT WORTH BUYING THIS FLASHLIGHT?
• I took a chance and bought it. I know nothing about these high output flashlights but I took a shot. It's the best flashlight I have. This thing is great. I never saw something like this. It lights up my whole yard. And look at the price! It's well worth the price. And it takes regular batteries. Which is a plus. I say get it.
• Superior in design and performance and very reasonable price. Love the easy to use and locate (in the light or dark) the bright green and textured on-off button at the back. It is extremely bright, the brightest I have owned of this sort. Have never made comparisons, but I suspect the battery life is not exceptional, if that is your objective, but I prefer performance over that kind of economy. The spread of the beam, down to a very small area, the long throw, the quality of the metal, and the hand-fitting shape are other pluses. I've been using AAA batteries, since they are always available, instead of that big (whatever it's designation) single battery, which is an alternative (both fit the flashlight; the AAAs fit in a little plastic harness). I learned a couple more pluses from other buyers' comments and recommend reading those, too. The simple answer to your question is: YES.
• I believe so yes I have had mine a while and love it it has worked great for me.
• Yes it's a great flashlight it bright had a great beam .the different settings are great. the one downfall is if u use it a lot better stock up on batteries in my line of work I use it a lot so I kinda wish I would of spent the extra on the rechargeable flashlight
• Yes it is, it's small, lightweight, bright, it runs on 3AAA or 1 3.7V 18650 3000mAh battery. OR for a $1.00 less, you can get the J5 Tactical Pro which runs on one regular AA battery. Both are equally as bright..
• I use it every day no problems. I also found out after you turn it on if you push the green button slightly it has a high and low feature and strobe and S.O..S feature. So yes I would buy it.
• Yes
• Yes.
• Yes.
• Yes for the money it's a great flashlight. It's nice that it has an adjustable beam.

QUESTION: IS THERE A TRICK TO GETTING THIS TO WORK? WONDERING IF MINE IS DEFECTIVE. SEEMED LIKE I JUST POP IN BATTERIES AND IT SHOULD WORK?
• If using 3 AAA batteries, make sure they are in the proper position based on the instructions
• Maybe the batteries are in the wrong way. I have personally just used the single 18650 battery and it goes with the positive aimed towards the LED.
• I couldn't get mine to work either, I saw that the coil in the flashlight that would be connecting with the battery pack seem bent, so I took a pen and pushed it to be more center and the flashlight came on immediately.
#Refun_600

QUESTION: WILL IT DRAIN THE BATTERIES IF NOT IN USE?
• So far no. I've had mine for a few months now and no noticeable decline.
• If it does, it hasn't been enough for me to notice. I've had the same batteries in mine since I received it and only use it when necessary. The light seems the same amount of brightness from when I put them in.
• The batteries go dead after a couple of months of everyday use.
• They hold up very well, I would still recharge them once a month just in case.
• Are we talking aaa batteries or Li-ion batteries? I have tried both types and they both held up real well. They don't seem to lose much power when not in use.
• I don't know. I wouldn't think so, though batteries tend to lose energy when not in use. Hope my answer helps.
• Probably not (?) It uses so little power. I put 3 new Duracell in and used it on a 2 weeks hunting trip last Nov. Until now, it's been 3 months and is still working great on those same batteries.
• Have not used my flash light for 10 days now and checked, .... still beaming strong!
• Not that I can tell so far. I've had this for a few months and we use it all the time. Still on the original charge from December. These lithium batteries run at full strength until the last bit of juice from what I understand.

QUESTION: I HAVE NOW RECEIVED TWO DIFFERENT FLASHLIGHTS BECAUSE I COULDN'T GET IT TO WORK IS THERE A TRICK TO TURN THESE ON?
• Mine works awesome. Make sure the batteries are good. You just press the button to turn on.
• Make sure new batteries are loaded correctly. Push button on end of flashlight once.It should come on.
• Ok, assuming you put batteries in the battery holder (all of the slots), you just push the button at the rear until it clicks on. Once the light is on. A softer push will switch it from high power to lower power and two different strobe modes.
#Refun_600_Review

QUESTION: THE SWITCH: HOW DO YOU CHOOSE AMONG THE 5 SETTINGS, DOES IT REMEMBER THE SETTING, AND DO YOU HAVE TO CYCLE THROUGH ALL THE SETTINGS TO TURN IT OFF?
• You do not have to cycle through all of the settings to turn it off. It always turns on in High mode after sitting for a period of time, you can then cycle through the settings by pushing the on/off button partially. If at any time you want to turn it off, just push the on/off button all the way in. When you push the button to turn the flashlight on, it is in High mode. You can then turn it off immediately. If you turn it back on immediately, you will be in Medium mode. You can then turn it off immediately. If you turn it back on immediately, you will be in Low mode. You can then turn it off immediately. If you turn it back on immediately, you will be in Strobe mode. You can then turn it off immediately. If you turn it back on immediately, you will be in SOS mode. You can then turn it off immediately. If you turn it back on immediately, you will be back to High mode. You can then turn it off immediately.
• It takes only a few seconds to figure out where the settings are as you operate it. No just turn it off anytime
#Refun_600_Lumen_Handheld_Flashlight

QUESTION: IS IT WATERPROOF?
• No it is not waterproof. I would say it would be ok in a light rain situation or if it fell in water it might be ok. But I don't recommend submersion. I hope this was helpful.
• Sorry, not sure. It doesn't say anything about being waterproof. Personally, I think its only water resistant at most? If you are looking for a waterproof flashlight, I would recommend you check out an underwater flashlight, like pelican or Underwater Kinetics. These are definitely, waterproof, but more pricey. You get what you pay for.
#Refun_600

QUESTION: CAN IT TRULY PRODUE 2000 LUMEN? HAS ANYONE TESTED IN A LAB?
• No. Its nowhere near 2000 lumens! More like 200. I'm a public safery officer and have a 1000 lumen and a 750 lumens. Both significantly brighter. I gave this light away and went with a nitecore and a bushnell.
• Its not 2000 but it certainly isn't 200 lumen. You must have a weak battery. I'm happy with mine. I'll be happier if it lasts.
• The number of lumens is not a measure of brightness. The lens determines the concentration and therefore the brightness of the flashlight. Lumens is the total light output which can be focused to high concentration for maximum brightness or focused to be more diffuse, but a wider field. If this 2000 lumen flashlight is not as bright as a 750 lumen light, it is due to the type of lens, not to some miscalculation of the lumens.
• I bought it almost 2 months ago. I am very impressed with the light. The light made my camping much easier and much more fun. Although I'm not sure if it has 2000 lumen and didn't test it with professional instrument. But I'm sure that the quality of the flashlight is good and worth for price.
#Lumen_Handheld_Flashlight

QUESTION: IS THIS A GOOD FLASHLIGHT TO BLIND SOMEONE ATTACKING YOU WITH?
• It is very bright and would momentarily blind someone the only problem is that this flashlight has different modes and the first mode comes on as the sos mode so you would have to click it twice for the brightest continuous mode. Hope this helps
• I would think so. While there ARE flashlights with more light output, they are all MUCH larger as far as I can tell. This one is VERY bright@
• yes
• Yes Batman. It works great on robbers and supervillains.
#Refun_600_Review

QUESTION: IS IT SMALL ENOUGH TO BE CARRIED IN YOUR POCKET COMFORTABLY?
• Yes...as long as there not skinny jeans. I wear cargo pants at work so I put it in a side pocket, or a back pocket.
• egh, it depends on what you are wearing i suppose. I wear dickies work slacks and its a bit bulky, if you wore jeans or anything of that sort id say it wouldnt be on the comfortable side
• Not in a pants pocket, but on cargo pants, it could fit into your leg pockets w/out a problem...Whatever the size, this is the best flashlight going right now...
• If you were tight clothes, your better half may ask if you're happy to see her. I do not and have no issue carrying the light. Worth some inconvenience. Super light!!
• Its in my pocket now. If you have wide pockets itsillbe uncomfortable if it falls over. I am looking for one with a clip on it so it stays in place. I know the smaller tacticle flashlights have them and i have seen one larger flashlight with it but would be nice to add one to this flashlight. But all else. I love this torch its amazing for the price. Dont forget to purchase the rechargeable batteries too.
#Refun_600_Lumen_Handheld_Flashlight

QUESTION: DO THIS FLASH LIGHT DURABLE?
• Yes, very durable. I have purchased three now.
• Use mine in an automotive shop and all day off and on use. Very durable.
• Very
• Is this flashlight durable??? YES!
• I've had it for several months now and used it on several outdoor excursions... dropping it in dirt, sand and mud. No problems so far. I will say it's very bright and capable of lighting up a large area at night when we've done night camping it helped to see the skunks in the distance and avoid them!
• YES
#Refun_600

QUESTION: ON THE REFUN 2000, HOW LONG IS THE BATTERY LIFE
• I have had mine for about 6 weeks...just now replaced the batteries, they were not completely dead but very low. Keep in mind I do not and did not use it everyday for hours...mostly everyday but for only about 15 minutes each time. I think for the price it is great and the batteries last as long as any other flashlight like this one. For daily tactical use where beating it is the norm, not a good choice. Need to get up into the..min $80.00 and up range for that kind of use. Buy it, you wont be disappointed. Also, check out the CVLIFE flashlight, made in Japan..a little bigger and beefier but also a great buy at $26.00. I bought both...
• To be honest I just got it a few days ago. I use three aaa batteries which are real affordable. I used it for three days already and it is just as bright as when I first got it. And for the price you can't beat it. I still can't get over how bright it is. I am going to buy another. I hope that helps you.
• I have had mine for a couple of weeks and still good. this is one heck of a flashlight.
#Lumen_Handheld_Flashlight

QUESTION: DOES IT INCLUDE A BICYCLE MOUNT?
• No it does not.
• No it does not
• No
• No. Just the flashlight.
• No it not include a bicycle mount. You can purchase a separate universal type mount to use. But again, I am satisfied with this purchase and bought an additional flashlight.
• No bicycle mount, but it is small and exceptionally bright. You could probably attach it to your bike with a couple Velcro straps.
• No it doesn't. It just comes with the wrist band shown in the picture.
#Refun_600_Review

QUESTION: WHAT'S THE BATTERY LIFE ON THIS HERE FLASHLIGHT.
• I use 123 batteries and last about an hour till noticeable dim.
• I have used this flashlight with 3 AAA batteries and have not seen any reduction in output. I heard that the single battery # 18650 has a longer life but for the power it has, I gladly carry spare AAA batteries. Until I wear the batteries out, I will not know what the real life expectancy is, but of course, that is dependent on the quality and type of any battery installed in this flashlight.
• Instead of using 3 AAA battries try using a single rechargeable battery lithium 3.7 volts. That will last longer. The flash light is great.
• i returned it in a week so i dont know however i do know that it does not provide 2000 lumens
• Battery life in any flashlight is dependent on different factors. Obviously if you use high mode a lot, it'll run out sooner. NO flashlight on high, will run much longer than 1 to 2 hours max...especially on a rechargeable battery. A GOOD quality 18650 will make a big difference over those crappy Refun & Ultrafire batteries.
#Refun_600_Lumen_Handheld_Flashlight

QUESTION: DOES THE RECHARGABLE BATTERY COME WITH IT OR IS THAT EXTRA
• Xtra. I use the bundler with 3 AAA batteries.
• Mine came with an adapter that held 3 aaa batteries Which I thought was odd as I had ordered the smaller one and it came with a charger and a battery I ended up buying another charger and 4 battery's as you need to stay up on them
• mine did not come with a battery but i've seen other packages on amazon that do come with a battery and charger
• tanks for the info
#Refun_600

QUESTION: DOES IT GIVE SAME LUMENS DESPITE OF TYPE OF BATTERY USED?
• Yes it is the same
• I haven't used different powered AA batteries but even with Kirkland AA it has enough power .
• Yes, to begin with, but it draws a lot of power, so rechargeable AAA batteries will start to go dim much quicker. I put in a set of fully charged Duracell Rechargeable batteries and was amazed at how bright the light was. I used it for about 20 minutes and did not notice any difference. However, when I used it the next day, it was significantly dimmer. I just got a couple BRC18650 batteries and have them charging. I will let you know how they work when I find out.
• No. You can run the flashlight with an 18650 rechargeable lithium battery, and it is visibly brighter with the 18650 than it is with AAAs. In neither case is it anywhere NEAR the 2000 lumens it claims. Probably well under 200, a little better with the 18650.
• There is no possibility under the sun that this light produces 600 lumens for $ 20.00 - ... Just no such light in the market right now that bright for less than $50.
#Lumen_Handheld_Flashlight

QUESTION: IS THIS VERY BRIGHT?
• It is super bright! In "telescoped" mode it will light up a car a block away.
• I'ts ok.
• yes
• It is 600 lumen and I am amazed by how bright it is. I can see about 400 feet into our pasture with the focused beam. This light is worth the small amount of money I paid for it.
• its brighter then my big mag I lite 4 d size battery
• It's the brightest I've seen for the price and size, totally met my expectations.
#Refun_600_Review

QUESTION: DOES IT GIVE THE SAME LIGHT OUTPUT WITH AAA BATTERIES AS AN 18650 BATTERY?
• Technically, 3 AAA's will feed the light 4.5 volts, whereby an 18650 gives it 3.7 I have tested and reviewed both similar Refun and Outlite flashlights, and could not see any real world difference with AAA's vs. an 18650. That being said, using 3 disposable cells is dumb...unless you hardly plan on using the light at all. If you predict moderate to heavy use, then you SHOULD use the 18650. AAA's are also made in rechargeable form at 1.2v (NiMH) You could get some of those, but you'd also need a either a dedicated NiMH charger, or a decent one that takes both lithium-ion and NiMH. With an 18650, if you don't have any, you need to buy quality (protected) batteries of true capacity. Don't cheap out and buy crap brands.
• I just use the AAA batteries, but the output is extremely bright, and stays so for what seems a very long time.
#Refun_600_Lumen_Handheld_Flashlight

QUESTION: BUTTON GLOWS?
• Doesn't glow just bright green, very visible. Fabulous small flashlight
• nine
• Yes, the green on/off button glows. Not bright and not long but it does briefly glow.
• Nope just colored brite. But this flashlight was returned asap. Didn't work. Look for oxyled flashlight. Comes in protected case w/ battery and charger. Button still doesn't flow tho lol
• no, it does not glow
• Yes, but it's a very dull glow.

QUESTION: HOW DO YOU GET THE ZOOM TO WORK? TWISTING THE TOP DOES NOT CHANGE THE BEAM IN ANYWAY.
• It slides back and forth. To zoom in slide the end out...
• Hold the base and slide the head of the light back towards the switch to zoom out and away from the switch to zoom in.
• don't twist it slide it back and forth.
• The lens section will pull out like a telescope held by an east India trading co ship captain.
• Hold the base tube on the green button side and Push the lens shroud forward... It slides in and out ..... Out to narrow the beam and in to widen the beam.
• pulling it up and down narrows the beam...twisting does nothng
• up by the handle is a sleeve that rotates clock wise and counter clockwise. As you rotate it, it zooms in and out.
• You pull not twist the top part of the light. It zooms out and in. Pull and push not twist.
• Slide top back and forth
#Lumen_Handheld_Flashlight

QUESTION: STROBE LIGHT MODE??
• Yes it flashes like a strobe on the third press of the button.
• Yes. You have to press the button 3 times.
• Yes it has strobe mode and is very effective.
• There is a Strobe light mode that is controlled by the off/on switch -- switch it slow all you get is off and on switch it fast three times and you get strobe and blinking.
• Yes it does have that mode.
• No, light beam only. Very bright though.
#Refun_600_Review

QUESTION: DOES HE BEAM PROJECT, HOW FAR?
• It projects "pretty far" for its size, and the fact that it uses Triple A batteries. In the dark, with the "Bright" Setting, I've CLEARLY Illuminated 50+ Feet, with illumination spreading farther. I will DEFINITIVELY State that You DON'T WANT to Shine It DIRECTLY Into Someone's Eyes!!! :-)
• It does project quite far , at least 50-75 yards
• it is a great distance I have about 1.5 acres and I can project the entire distance of my property and able to see good
• The zoom lets you reac out when you focus the light narrow. I use it in my front yard. Easily 40 feet is lit up.
• At a 100yards you can easily see a target through a basic 3x9 scope with the light mounted on top at 200yardd you can see a blurred image. It depends on what your looking for.
#Refun_600_Lumen_Handheld_Flashlight

QUESTION: DOES THE END CAP GLOW IN THE DARK?
• Yes it does! I used an UV light on the green button and it glowed for me. Not so much with normal lighting.
• I gave it to my son as a Christmas present, but when I had it I charged the battery and made sure everything worked ok and it didn't glow in the dark when I had it
• No the end cap is green
• Mine doesn't
• Sadly no.
• No its just green
#Refun_600

QUESTION: WOULD YOU TRUST THIS TO MOUNT ON A BUDGET SHOTGUN?
• I would not spend the money on the mount. The on off switch is not reliable
• Not enough shock protection
• Yes, although the J5 Tactical V1-Pro is all-around a better choice because of its size, output, and requirement of only one AA battery...
• Sorry for the late reply. I had to wait for nightfall to test the light with the new battery they sent me. To directly answer you yes i would! (HOWEVER) I don't think it is 2000 lumens!
• Most deffanently . very good flashlight !
• Yes I would trust it to perform, it is quality built. Super light for the money. It is a little on the big side in my opinion to mount on a gun but you might think differently. I bought mine to keep in my hunting pack for trailing game.
#Lumen_Handheld_Flashlight

QUESTION: WHAT MAH BATTERIES DO YOU NEED FOR THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES?
• AAA
• AAA
• I use the 18650 rechargeable battery rather than the AAA batteries. It is 4000 mAh. You can get buy those batteries separately since they are not included, or get the same flashlight with an included 18650 battery and charger for about $4.00 more.
#Refun_600_Review

QUESTION: DOES IT HAVE A MOMENTARY ON FUNCTION, BY DEPRESSING THE SWITCH PARTIALLY, WITHOUT CLICKING IT TO FULLY ON?
• Nope.
• I don't believe it does, unless that's a feature I missed. There is a green button on the end that you press in to turn it on. Also, you grasp each end and pull in opposite directions to narrow and brighten the beam. When the ends are pushed together to make the biggest beam, it really can light an entire room. When pulled to it's longest length, the beam is smaller and so bright that I truly believe you can see things a long distance away. I checked again just now and I could not find a momentary function, but it is still the best flashlight for the price that I have ever come across and I just had delivered this morning three more. I hope this helps.
#Refun_600_Lumen_Handheld_Flashlight

QUESTION: THE WHOLE FLASH LIGHT BECAME QUITE HOT AFTER LEAVING IT ON FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES, IS IT NORMAL?
• It migh be. That is a lot of light for 3 AAA batteroes
• I use standard AAA batteries, and have never experienced this problem. They last a long time, the way I use it, which is "bursty", not continuously.
#Refun_600

QUESTION: WHAT IS THE PLASTIC TUBE FOR? WHY ARE THERE NO DIRECTIONS WITH THE PRODUCT?
• It is for other kind of battery instead of the 3 AAA regular batteries. It is expensive compared with the price of 3 AAA.
• Plastic tube is for 18650 batteries. You put the battery inside the tube and put it inside the light positive side towards the front of light
• They sell rechargeable batteries for these flashlights and you put the plastic tube around them. I do not believe you have to use it but that's what it is for
• it is for 3 AAA batteries . without the plastic tube it can used a 18650 rechargeable batteries.
• I have no clue what the plastic tube is for. Mine had no directions with it either.
• Its for focusing the lens
#Lumen_Handheld_Flashlight

QUESTION: CAN THIS USE UNPROTECTED 18650'S?
• What do you mean unprotected? Unprotected by a plastic cover?
• Sorry not sure since they come with the white tube to hold them it seems you have to use the holder. I'm using rechargeable AAAs in the proper holder with great results
#Refun_600_Review

QUESTION: HOW LONG DO THE BATTERIES LAST
• As with ANY flashlight, it depends on the capacity of the battery and on which mode you use most. A 3400mAh 18650 battery used on high will be about 1 hour. You also need to buy a DECENT battery, not one of these "fire" brands that are usually fakes! A quality cell will last 2 to 3 times longer than the bogus brands.
• Not sure flash light broke week I bought it used it twice
• depending on what ur using.. 3 AAA or 18650 rechargeable battery
• I would recommend getting the 18650 battery it will last all night...
• I don't know... haven't used it long enough to run the batteries down. Like anything else, I would imagine that it all depends upon how much you use it.
#Refun_600_Lumen_Handheld_Flashlight

QUESTION: WILL FLAT TOP 18650 BATTERIES WORK IN THIS FLASHLIGHT?
• I think it might. The flashlight has a spring like mechanism on both sides in the battery comartment so it could possibly get loose but probably not
• You can use 3 AAA batteries, don't need to use the one supplied.
#Refun_600

QUESTION: HOW MANY MODES? CAN I DUNK THIS IN WATER HOW LONG?
• It has five (5) different modes. It is water resistant, NOT water PROOF!! Don't dunk it in water!
• It has a strobe setting and you can adjust the light from a beam to wide beam by pulling on the front of the flash light
• 5 modes bright, slightly dimmer, slightly more dimmer, strobe, sos. Beam is adjustable narrow to broad beam, very powerful. Can't answer water question because I'm not going to test mine under water. I love it and bought 5 after the first one.
• I have used it in the rain - no problems - while checking on my chickens. The adjustable beam is great for counting chickens at distances. Love it!
#Lumen_Handheld_Flashlight

QUESTION: IS THERE A LARGE DARK SPOT IN MIDDLE OF THE BEAM IN SPOT LIGHT MODE?
• No. Be aware that the spotlight beam forms a square rather than a circle.
• No...the tighter (smaller) the light, the more it shapes to a square. No problem for me...
• No, clear square pattern
#Refun_600_Review

QUESTION: CAN IT BE SUBMERGED? IF SO FOR HOW LONG.
• I belong to a local fire dept. And i used it in a night time traing exercise i took it in a 5ft pool and used it under water and had no problems and that WAs a month ago and it still works now . Hope that helps
• the light is weather proof ie: has o rings to prevent rain and debris from getting into vital areas but I do not think it is water proof I have not submerged my lights, if you can avoid this I would. but outside that I am very pleased with my lights, hope this was helpful.
• Water resistant and water proof are two different things. This light is water resistant, not water proof. Big difference.

QUESTION: I PRESS THE GREEN BUTTON AND NOTHING HAPPENS, SOMETIMES I HAVE TO PRESS IT 10 TIMES FOR THE FLASHLIGHT TO COME ON. DO I HAVE A DEFECTIVE ONE?
• I ordered 10 but on all of them it wasn't quite a responsive *click. But on mine just a light press they come on another light press would cycle through the different modes. (The battery holder in the right direction? Batteries in the right direction? Screw cap on bottom tight?)
• I couldn't get mine to work either, I saw that the coil in the flashlight that would be connecting with the battery pack seem bent, so I took a pen and pushed it to be more center and the flashlight came on immediately.

QUESTION: IS THIS GUY COME WITH BATTERY?
• Yes, mine came with a battery. This light is very bright but it drains batteries fast. It is still worth the 3 bucks.
• Battery not included.
• NO
#Refun_600_Review

QUESTION: HOW DO YOU GET THE ZOOM TO WORK? TWISTING THE TOP DOES NOT CHANGE THE BEAM IN ANYWAY.
• Pull the end of the flashlight out and push it back in. Basically you are making it longer and shorter. That changes the LED to lens distance adjusting the focus.
• You pull it, I believe
• Pull the front of the flashlight toward or away from you to adjust.
• You pull the front of the light (where the lens is located) out or push it in. That is the zoom.
• Pull on the top end of the flashlight. The whole top end will slide out a bit and that's how you adjust the beam.
• Just pull the top it slides
• extend light head.

• I do not use the rechargeable batteries, only the 3 AAA batteries in the holder. I do this because I keep the light is in my car and I want to make sure it will work when I need it.
• well I have had mine sitting on my display case for about a month now and it is a little weak but still works. I will be charging it again soon to ake sure it is full when I need it
• We have two of them and we just had to replace the batteries for the first time about a week ago. We purchased them roughly 3 months ago and use them every single day.

QUESTION: WHAT IS THE AMAZON ASIN NUMBER FOR THIS PRODUCT?
• The ASIN is B00QGBNZVI
