• No. I just threw the whole thing into the washer. Funny that you ask that question now, since I just washed mine, for the first time, 2 days ago. It survived washer and dryer and seems none the worse for wear.

• As far as I can tell, no you cannot remove the lining, and yet I believe it is machine washable. I bought this for my grandson's camping trip and he has only used it the one time for a week. They slept in cabins so it has not been necessary to wash it as yet.
• Sorry, I can't answer this specifically as the sleeping bags were given to our granddaughters at Christmas. In thinking back at what I did see upon looking them over at that time, you would need to wash the entire bag. However, the fabric appeared to be very washable. It would need hanging to dry. We were very impressed with the quality of these bags.

• It might if you have a big suitcase. It is probably best rolled and carried on top of the suitcase, though. I used it for "indoor camping" and it was perfect.

• Probably not. Once you open it and use it the first time, it won't roll up as tight as when new. Even when new, it wouldn't fit in a standard suitcase. As long as you aren't flying, just carry it. If flying, attach it to a backpack or use it as your carry on.

QUESTION: WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO GET THE COLEMAN BRAXOS SLEEPING BAG BACK IN THE CARRYING BAG?
• it is tough to do. After you fold it in half length wise, make sure when you roll it up your first roll is very, very tight, then continue to compress it with your body as you continue rolling it.
• Fold it in half the long way tie together with the loop and toggle. Do not roll it. Just start stuffing it in the bag turning the bag as you stuff. When you get it in the bag tighten the draw string and secure. If you want you can keep working the bag and get the outside zipper zipped. I just leave it unzipped.
• I never did get it back in......I just tied it around with the cords and that was that. They could have made the bags a bit bigger in my opinion!

• Hi! This is a very well made sleeping bag and my son is really happy with it. He is about 5'7 and he says it fits him good but that his feet go almost all the way to the end of the sleeping bag. Hope that helps you out.
• Advertised as "Fits most heights up to 5 ft. 11 in" so unlikely to work for you.
• Well, a teenager used the one we have and he is 5'10'' and it worked great for him (length wise). Not sure a 6'2'' individual would be 'completely' covered by the sleeping bag.

QUESTION: HOW BIG HAS TO BE A BACKPACK IN ORDER FIT THIS SLEEPING BAG?
• sleeping bad, when packed in its bad (provided) is of the size of a 5 lb protein supplement container. That's the closest reference I can give. Its not very compact but serves its purpose. Roughly cylindrical bag would be 17' in height and 10' in diameter. its all a rough estimate but, you can get the picture.
• This sleeping bag is not compacted enough even the provided bag to fit in a backpack. This would fit attached to the outside of a hiking backpack.
• Your backpack will need to be fairly large unless you are able to re-roll the sleeping bag in a 'tighter roll' - but with the zipper bag - it is about 10-12 in diameter.

• It come in a drawstring bag that has a zipper on the side to expand. Not sure if that is what you are looking for.
• It comes with a sack that i suppose u can call a compression bag... I found it much easier to jam the sleeping bag into the provided sack vs following the recommended fold and tie method. • It does come with a tie-system and I even got mine to fit back in the bag. The bag had an expansion zip that when unzipped gives an extra two inches. It was a tight fit to get back in but it worked.

• I believe the Palmetto provides warmth down to 30 degrees, whereas the Brazos goes down to 20 degrees.

• If your question is actual weight of the bag, it is 5lbs cinched up in its carrying bag.
• It's not that heavy, but it is pretty big even when rolled up. It also comes out of the traveling case when you walk with it for a few minutes.
