QUESTION: I HAVE AN ATTACHMENT FOR MY SHOP VAC FOR INFLATING AIR MATTRESS WHICH HAS END THAT MEASURES ROUGHLY 1/2 INCH WILL THIS WORK ON THIS MATTRESS?
• I would think so, the mattress has a small opening to inflate, and a larger one to deflate, so as long as it lines up with the inflate opening the air will go in and not come back out. We lost the attachment for our electric air pump, but as long as we line it up with the opening it inflates it with no trouble. Hope this helps.
• SOUNDS CLOSE ENOUGH TO TRY..!!
• I measured the outside diameter of the attachment of an Intex mattress inflator and it was about 5/8", definitely bigger than 1/2".
• I thought about it a bit more and one might "build up" the OD of a 1/2" attachment by wrapping some tape (like masking tape) around the 1/2" until it was "built up" to fit the input for inflating the Intex mattress.
• It might help fill the mattress but I don't think it would do the job completely. You'd have to see what works with the Boston valve (one way valve). You'd have to be able to pull out the air hose and screw on the valve before losing air pressure or find an adapter that workshe with the valve.

QUESTION: CAN I USE AN INTEX BATTERY PUMP ON THIS? OR DO YOU HAVE TO USE A HANDPUMP
• My husband used an electric pump so I'm assuming it's the same as a battery pump. Way better than hand pump!
• If you have the right fittings you can use a battery or electric pump to inflate.
• You do not need to use a hand pump on this. I purchased an electric pump and as long as it has the correct size nip on the end, it should work.
• The Intex is the correct pump for this mattress. It comes in 3 styles: battery, 12v, or 120 v.

QUESTION: HAS ANYONE SLEPT ON THIS NIGHTLY LONG TERM? IF SO, HOW DO YOU LIKE IT? I'M LOOKING FOR SOMETHING WITH GOOD BACK SUPPORT.
• I used this for months in row, it is sturdy, but it loses air every few days you have to top it off with air.
• I don't know what you might think long term is, but my wife and I slept on it for over a week while on vacation last summer. We found it comfortable.
• any of the good quality air mattresses will provide good support, just inflate to "your sleep number" and relax, however this is not a quality air mattress and no one will honor the warrantee when it goes flat forever in about 3 to 4 months. The older versions were bullet proof and lasted for years but not any more.
• I'm working on contract for 6 months and staying at a friends place. I picked this up back in June and it's still comfy 5 months later. Thus far I've only needed to add a bit of air to it once. Either I got lucky or this is a very durable and comfortable airmattress.

QUESTION: WOULD FULL BEDDING FIT ON THIS MATTRESS OR SHOULD YOU HAVE QUEEN SIZE BEDDING?
• I have is air bed in queen size, and queen sheets fit it perfectly. I don't think full size fitted sheets would work, but you could maybe get away with using a full flat sheet as the bottom sheet.
• It needs queen size bedding
• Hello Probably not....it's the same size as a queen mattress... Sincerely; Barbara J. Customer Service Manager Little Folks Book and Toy
• It needs queen size bedding
#Intex_Classic_Review

QUESTION: WOULD A DOG PUNCTURE THIS WITH IT'S NAILS?
• The one I bought is not holding air but I have bought from intex before and in my experience they get holes very easily so I would say yes.
• I think a smaller dog might be ok, but anything medium sized or larger will definitely be able to puncture it with its nails.
• Not sure, I didn't have it around animals but if it got punctured without any animals around I'm sure it's so cheap pet nails will puncture it.
• I use it when my dog(Brittney 35lbs to 40lbs) had leg surgery. She sleep on it with me for a week or two with no problems. I've own the mattress for a long time (4 to 6 years)and my grandchildren have used it and the dog has sleep with them too. My wife has use it camping with the grandchild too.My dogs nails are cut or worn down from walks, but still long. So it's worked for me. To Me one of the best cheap air mattress I've found. IMO, I plan on buying another one.

QUESTION: COULD YOU PLEASE CLARIFY, IS THERE A MANUAL HAND PUMP INCLUDED WITH THIS MATTRESS OR NOT?
• No pump included. I suggest you buy one, there are several good ones listed.
• Hi. Sorry no. A pump was not included with the air mattress.
• No, you will have to purchase one.
• There is no manual hand pump. I had an electric pump from another air mattress but it didn't fit the nozzle on this one and I had to make a adapter out of duct tape and a empty toilet paper roll.
#Intex_Classic

QUESTION: THE INFO STATES IT HAS A BUILT IN PUMP BUT I NOTICED PEOPLE ARE SAYING THERE IS NO PUMP.??
• The product description is for the Ultra Plush model, which is an indoor airbed and has a built in pump. You can see the dimensions (height) conflict between the Product Description and Amazon.com description. This is the Classic Downy model.
• There is no builtin pump.
• There is NOT a pump built in. I picked up a Coleman rechargeable pump/vacuum for car camping and it's great.
• There is no pump. You have to buy one. I just purchased one on Amazon.
• The bed that I purchased has no pump
• no air pump with mattress. I just picked up a battery powered on fir ten dollars.
• No. There is no pump. You will have to buy the pump. Walmart pumps will do. Strange but there is no pump! What were they thinking? Who knows!
• This model does not come with a built in pump.
#Downy_Airbed_Queen

QUESTION: COULD THIS FIT IN A BACK PACK OR CARRY ON COMFORTABLY? LOOKING TO USE IT ON AN OVERSEAS CAMPING TRIP
• It could if rolled but the backpack would need to be large. Also, it may take the majority of the room in the bag.
• Folded and rolled it would fit in a medium (9--20) ALPS Mountaineering Compression Sack, but it depends on the size of your back pack. The dimensions of a queen size mattress is 60x80 if that helps. Have a fantastic and safe trip! Glynis
#Intex_Classic_Review

QUESTION: HELLO, WHAT KIND OF AIR PUMP DO WE NEED TO FILL AIR IN??
• You can get this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B014J1KEVK?psc=1 Or you can get the one suggested by Amazon when you buy the mattress
• Hi Shlomi B. Here's the one I got Intex Quick-Fill AC Electric Air Pump, 110-120 Volt, Max. Air Flow 21.2CFM :-)
• Remember to check for the type plug you want. I wanted the regular outlet plug, so I got the one I shared in my previous comment.
• I would use an electric pump. Barbara J., Customer Service Mgr., The Lake Arrowhead Company
• Any store that sells air mattresses also sell the air pumps. The pumps usually come with nozzles to fit a variety of mattresses.
#Intex_Classic_Downy_Airbed_Queen

QUESTION: I OWN AN AIR PUMP FOR A PREVIOUS MATTRESS. DO YOU THINK IT CAN BE COMPATIBLE TO THIS ONE?
• I'm sure and if not you can buy the attachments to make it work at a Walmart probably
• Probably, especially if your pump has several different sized nozzles you can use. The fill hole is maybe 1".
• Yes it should be compatible. We have one from a previous air mattress that we use on this one.
• If it is the cone shaped nozzle, it should work.
#Intex_Classic

QUESTION: HOW COULD IT SELL THIS ITEM WITHOUT PUMP? DO YOU SELL CARS WITHOUT WHEELS OR ENGINE?!
• Because this is a replacement airbed for those who already have pumps. Look on Amazon a little harder. They sell this airbed with a pump and two pillows.
• Some of the Airbed do have built in pumps. Some people already have the pumps and don't want to pay for another one so they will order an airbed that does not come with the pump and costs less. Barbara J., Customer Service Mgr., Little Folks Book and Toy Company
• I agree 100%!! Luckily I have a decent air pump that I use for pool inflatables that I got for about 10 bucks and it works great with this bed.
• There is another version of this mattress that comes with the pump and 2 pillows...it's 5 bucks more. I personally chose this one, because I already have a pump, and pillows.
#Downy_Airbed_Queen

QUESTION: IT SAYS IT COMES WITH A PUMP. DOES IT REALLY?
• Just the basic bed does not come with a pump
• the one I bought didn't say nor come with the pump. I bought it separately for $20 on amazon.
• I do not see where it says it comes with a pump. I do not recall a pump with this item and description says pump not included.
• * Inflatable queen-sized airbed for indoor and outdoor use with hi-output manual hand pump
#Intex_Classic_Review

QUESTION: MINE DIDN'T COME WITH THE INCLUDED HAND PUMP, ANYONE ELE HAVE THIS PROBLEM?
• It clearly stated pump not included when I bought it
• handpump is not included. Intex sell pumps separately
• Pump is not included, I think they notice...
• Neither did mine but I didn't think it was included. But used once and kept losing air.. waste of money
• same here, I don't like to seller on purposely misleading buyer by putting like "this works with manual pump", I found another one with pump and 2 pillows with only $6 more. I'm returning the item and hoping the new one arrives on time.
• There is another version of this mattress that comes with the pump and 2 pillows...it's 5 bucks more. I personally chose this one, because I already have a pump, and pillows.
#Intex_Classic_Downy_Airbed_Queen

QUESTION: HOW WOULD THIS WORK FOR A VERY LARGE MAN? IS THERE A WEIGHT RESTRICTION?
• My wife and I roughly weight in about total combined weight of 300 lb. We didn't loss any air, and it is built pretty will.
• Im a two hundred pound plus man and my girl is about 120 and we sleep fine on it
• Hi...nice size bed but thin..I put a featherbed on it to plump up the size..I should have spent the money for a thicker mattress
#Intex_Classic

QUESTION: HOW DO YOU DEFLATE IT?
• After one use it deflates itself, whether or not you want it to. You can also unscrew the plug and it will deflate more quickly.
• You open the valve and squeeze air out. It's not a built in pump.
• We used the pump that we bought with airbed to deflate it. Pump came with nossle for one side of pump to inflate in minutes and the other side deflates in minutes.
• There is a 2-in-1 Valve that you use to inflate as well as deflate the Classic Downy
• You can just let the air out. There is a small pop open part for inflating and a bigger screw off part for deflating. My air pump has a reverse so that is what I use - fast and easy.
• We unplugged it and pressed until all the air was out. We then folded it for storage.
#Downy_Airbed_Queen

QUESTION: CAN THIS FIT IN A ROUGUE?
• Its a queen sized bed so measure to see if a rogue is big enough to hold a queen sized mattress
• Hi Michele, yes this fits in a Rogue.
• I'm sure it will fit however the quality wasn't great
• What is a rougue? Be very careful with this mattress and do not fill it very firm. Mine burst doing that. There is no way to tell if you are overfilling it.
#Intex_Classic_Review

QUESTION: DOES IT COME WITH A PUMP AND IF NOT WHAT TYPE OF PUMP DOES IT REQUIRE.
• No, It does not come with a pump, however you can do a search and find all sorts that work. I purchased a pump with it and when I received it, it only works when plugged into a car/truck lighter port. I had a battery operated Coleman 4D Battery Quickpump and used that instead of the one I purchased. It *the pump, comes with the cone to inflate/deflate the mattress. One size fits all. Hope this helps. By the way, I've used this mattress already and it was great. It stayed full of air for over a week, without having to add air.
• At this price, it didn't come with a pump. I reversed the hose on my vaccuum to fill it with air and it only took seconds.
#Intex_Classic_Downy_Airbed_Queen

QUESTION: WOULD IT FIT INTO A COLEMAN COT AS A REPLACEMENT MATTRESS?
• As long as it's a queen size cot...
• Not sure if it will but i don't recomend this mattress. I bought two and both of them leaked.
• I'm not sure about a Coleman cot, but we used this as a replacement mattress on a queen folding bed and it fit just fine.
• If it is a queen size Coleman cot then yes.
#Intex_Classic

QUESTION: CAN USE A REGULAR BICYCLE PUMP TO INFLATE?
• I had a regular air pump that I tried using, it honestly was slower and didn't work as well as the manual foot pump that I purchased for this bed.
• I use an electric pump. You might be able to use a bicycle pump to inflate with the right attachment on the pump. A screw on attachment that is cone shaped might work.
• I don't believe so. I have an electric pump and manual pump specifically for them.
• I think you would have to do a lot of modifying to make that work! The opening to the air mattress is designed for a vacuum cleaner hose. At least, that is my recollection. I haven't used the mattress in a few months.
#Downy_Airbed_Queen

QUESTION: SEVERAL REVIEWERS MENTIONED THAT IT DIDN'T COME WITH A HAND PUMP. DID ANYONE RECEIVE A PUMP?
• No but it did not say that it come with a pump in the description as I remember.
• No it did not come with a pump.
• I'm pretty sure that it did NOT come with a hand pump. A little battery operated one is pretty inexpensive, and makes a huge difference.
#Intex_Classic_Review

QUESTION: HI. DOES THIS COMES WITH AN INFLATION TOOL/DEVICE?
• No, you must order a device separately but they're rather cheap somewhere around 10 bucks
• No it does not. It will have to be purchased separately.
• Unfortunately not. It requires a larger-size inflator (bigger than the standard size that you can blow with your mouth). Fortunately I have am inflatable raft that came with a pump that works perfectly. Great air mattress though.
• No
• no it doesn't
• Nope! Luckily I had one.
• does not include a pump. I use mine for the grandkids when they spend the night and I love this thing!
• No, this does not come with an inflation tool or pump.
#Intex_Classic_Downy_Airbed_Queen

QUESTION: CAN I FIT THIS INTO A SMALL BACKPACK WHEN IT IS COMPLETELY DEFLATED?
• If deflated completely, the Queen size measures 14.5 x 12 x 4.5
• Define small? I think a 30litre bag would hold this mattress, so small backpack no.
• I suppose it can, but you wont have mush room for other items.
• No it is fairly large, maybe a large backpack?
#Intex_Classic

QUESTION: CAN YOU BLOW IT UP WITH YOUR MOUTH?
• No you would need a small pump very inexpensive
• It is possible to blow up with your mouth but you would hyperventilate. I use a small shop vac vacuum and it works just fine. Just reverse the air flow to blow out instead of in.
• Yes, however it'll take some time and considerable effort.
• No you need a pump.
• you can, i rolled up a piece of paper to form a tube that matched the mattress nozzle. But i will say it takes a great deal of effort to do so. If you are going to do it by mouth then plan to do it in 2 sessions so as not to strain yourself too much.
• Yes, but not recommended
#Downy_Airbed_Queen

QUESTION: DOES THIS AIRBAG COME WITH A PUMP? I AM LOOKING TO USE IT FOR CAMPING AND WILL HAVE NO POWER AT THE CAMPSPOT, SO WOULD LIKE TO CHECK.
• No,it did not. ...bought one at walmart tho, $15
• No,it did not. ...bought one at walmart tho, $15
• No this one does not. We bought a battery powered one.
• No. You need to buy a pump separately.
#Intex_Classic_Review

QUESTION: IT SAYS THERE IS A "BUILT IN, HIGH-POWERED ELECTRIC PUMP" DOES THAT MEAN THE PUMP IS INCLUDED, THEREFORE I DO NOT NEED TO BUY A PUMP SEPARATELY?
• There is no pump included. You need to buy one. Intec sells some decent and cheap quick fill pumps that work great. They offer options for ac or DC.
• I believe the information provided on the airbed is for a different model. This one does not come with a built in pump.
• I inflated the air mattress I bought with my own electric pump. Mine did not come with a built in pump.
• no... the pump is to be bought separately. its not included on the price of the air bed.

QUESTION: WHAT IS A GOOD HAND PUMP TO USE WITH THIS?

• There is a 5$ footpump available on Amazon... Worth every penny.
#Intex_Classic

QUESTION: DEFLATE? I BOUGHT THIS AND THE INTEX QUICK AC PUMP. I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE PUMP AND THE MATTRESS WILL NOT DEFLATE. HELP!
• Hi you have to turn the nozzle on the bed where you put the pump in until you feel air coming out of nozzle.
• The filler cap between the the mattress intake valve and the mattress must be unscrewed and taken off. This will remove the leak prevention flap and allow the air to escape.
• I had no problem with the deflation we just took the stopper out and it went down. Sorry can't be much help
• There should be two connections on your pump. Use the other connection to pump the air out.
#Downy_Airbed_Queen

QUESTION: PUMP
• I didn't get one either! I want some money back or my pump that I paid for!
• You have to buy a pump! Unfortunately my air mattress I didn't even get to use once. It arrived damaged!
• It does not come with a pump...
#Intex_Classic_Review

QUESTION: IS IT EASILY PUNCTURED BY CATS?
• Unless your cats have claws like daggers, I don't think it will be easy for your cat to puncture the mattress. However if he uses it like a scratching post then all bets are off.
• I don't know...but I was airing it up (after owning a couple of months...with not much use) it got really big in one corner..than wouldn't pump up at all. Amazon gave me my money back...very nice about it too. I would not buy another of this brand.
• If they r not declawed. ..but it's wonderful I have back problems and I can sleep great
#Intex_Classic_Downy_Airbed_Queen

QUESTION: DOES IT COME WITH A CARRYING BAG/CASE?
• no
• Sadly no.
• No, it does not.
• No it does not, but is still a good value
• It does not have a bag/case, I keep it in the box it came in.
• No. It comes with a box ;)
#Intex_Classic

QUESTION: COULD I PUT IT OVER THE QUEEN SIZE AIR BED?
• This IS the queen sized airbed :)
• This is a queen size air bed.
• I don't understand your question This is a queen size air bed. So are you wishing to stack 2 airbeds?
• I guess you could if it'll stay inflated I used this thing twice and both times I filled it with air the air went out In less than an hour so good luck if you're gonna buy this thing I wouldn't touch it If I were you knowing what I know now
• Yes, it will fit .
• You could but it may not be comfortable to sleep like that
#Downy_Airbed_Queen

QUESTION: DOES THIS HAVE A WARRANTY. ANOTHER RETAILER HAS A SIMILAR PRODUCT, THAT COSTS TWICE AS MUCH BUT HAS A ONE-YEAR WARRANTY

#Intex_Classic_Review

QUESTION: DOES ANYONE THINK THIS WOULD WORK ON TOP OF A SOFABED (ON TOP OF THE MATTRESS). I NEED TO MAKE IT MORE COMFY FOR GUESTS.
• It could possibly work. If you can get it to not slide off. It's a nice mattress and stays very firm (or not, depending on how stiff you like it) as you sleep.
• It works!
• Yes, as long as nothing sharp from the sofa bed is poking the mattress it should work great.
• Yes, I think it would work, but it doesn't quickly inflate or deflate so you would have to leave the sofa bed open during your guests'entire visit.
• Yes
#Intex_Classic_Downy_Airbed_Queen

QUESTION: CAN THIS BE INFLATED WITH AN OZARK TRAIL 4D BATTERY PUMP?
• I am not sure, brought my pump, if pump fits then hopefully yes
• Yes. Any camping type air mattress pump will work.
#Intex_Classic

QUESTION: THE INFLATION VALVE ISN'T COMPATIBLE WITH OUR HAND OR ELECTRIC PUMPS. IS THERE A FITTING WE CAN BUY?
• We bought the Intex Bellows Foot Pump and that worked great!
• There is a special pump for it that isn't expensive. I had trouble finding an adapter to fit my regular pump. I now actually have two pumps, one is AC and the other is DC. That way I can take water toys on the lake and blow them up on the boat instead of trying to find a place to put them. Also the special pump will deflate your mattress too and make it very easy to store.

QUESTION: WHAT IS THE EXACT DIMENSION OF THIS BED WHEN FULLY INFLATED?
• It's 80x60x8.75 inches (LxWxH).

#Intex_Classic_Review

QUESTION: CAN THIS FLOAT
• It's not heavy and plastic lined on the bottom but I didn't put it in water so I don't know.
• Yes, but I wouldn't use it as a floaty since the design is not for that. You may want something with thicker on the sides and thinner in the middle for stability. Also the top is covered with some fabrick for confort.
• It definitely can
• It is filled with air, so it probably can, but I wouldn't use it like that since it has the flocked top.
• Sure could but you might not be happy when it collapse around you...
#Intex_Classic_Downy_Airbed_Queen

QUESTION: IS THIS REALLY A QUEEN SIZE? IT LOOKS MUCH SMALLER
• Yes it is and is comfortable
• size inflated is 60" x 80" x 8 3/4"
#Intex_Classic

QUESTION: WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS OF THE MATTRESS DEFLATED (AS-RECEIVED)? PLANNING MY CAMPING PACK.
• This air bed can fold up real small. Can definitely fit in a backpack. I would say the dimensions folded can be as small as 16 x 16 you can even fold it as small as possible. It is very sturdy. I thought it was a good buy for the price. It is made from sturdy materials.
• My fiancee says about the size of a large dictionary but a bit longer. He set it up. I never saw it before it was inflated. He also says not to quote him on that.
