QUESTION: ARE THESE DISHWASHER SAFE?
• I have a plain stainless and don't personally run it through the dishwasher. I can't remember what the accompanying info said. I do, on occasion, run the lids through the dishwasher instead of hand washing like I usually do. The lids hold up just fine. I have read that the paint chips off of the colored bottles, but that was from other reviews. Sorry I could not be of better assistance.

• Only the stainless colored ones
• I suggest hand washing colored bottles to prolong color of Kanteens. That being said I put mine in dishwasher all the time but they have been dropped and dinged up so at this point I don't mind that they do not look new any longer. I wash the caps by hand.

QUESTION: IS THIS THE SPORTS CAP 3.0?
• The 3.0 cap has the soft, rubber (silicone?) spout and a chirp-free / Leak proof valve. I have the same question. I need leak-proof. Can anyone help?

QUESTION: WHERE IS IT MADE?
• Manufactured in China. Here are some quotes from Klean Kanteen's website regarding product safety. "Klean Kanteen has always shared many of the concerns you, our customers, have expressed about manufacturing the bottles in China. Before a single bottle was ever produced, Klean Kanteen set in place checks and balances to ensure that our bottles are produced safely, sustainably and that the people making Klean Kanteens are treated well and paid fairly..."We have representatives from Klean Kanteen living in China who visit our factories regularly...We currently perform regular product testing through third-party, accredited laboratories to meet regulatory requirements and our own high standards for product safety."
• The plastic cap has a CHINA mark on it but the bottle is unmarked. I do not recall any markings on the packaging so I assumed the entire product is manufactured there.

QUESTION: WHAT IS THE DIAMETER OF THE BOTTLE...CAN IT FIT A CONDOR WATER BOTTLE POUCH?
• The diameter of the bottle depends on the amount of liquid it holds. The 40oz bottle has a diameter of about 3.5-4 inches, lower ounce bottles have smaller diameters. Hope this helps.

QUESTION: HOW QUICKLY WILL THIS POUR OUT IF YOU TURN IT UPSIDE DOWN WITH THE CAP UP? A DRIBBLE OR A STREAM?
• Some what of a faster trickle. Not a full stream. Be cautioned- mine came with a completely disgusting mouth piece. I can't use my bottle now at all. The mouth piece was dirty and had scuffs and debris all over it. I tried cleaning it but its clear to me that this was a used product being sold as new. I would've loved the bottle if it was clean and new .

• I would say that it is normal for the length of time. Usually we are re-filling the canteen every 2-2.5 hours. Hope this helps

QUESTION: IS THE BOTTLE SWEAT-PROOF AND WHAT IS THE OUNCES THAT THIS HOLDS?
• Hello, I can tell you that it is pretty sweat proof. However, since I am not home for a few more days, I can't confirm exactly how many ounces it holds. I do own two sets of all three sizes (for each of my kids... one for their lunch bag, one for their water bottle that sits on their at school desk and one for the pool, hiking, sports, etc.). The smallest holds about 8 oz, the medium holds about 12 - 14 oz and the largest is about 24 oz. I hope this helps.

QUESTION: HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP ICE IN IT?
• It will keep ice for hours, depending on the outside temperature. It's not insulated, though, so if it's in the sun the ice will melt faster, of course.
• When I'm going on a long bike ride on a hot day I filled the bottle with ice cubes an then with water. I have cold water (largely melted ice) for a good three hours or so. Victoria has it right - these bottles are not insulated, so heat from the day will soak in. I have one blue and one unpainted stainless steel. The bare metal surface seems to warm up faster with the sun shining on it.

QUESTION: IS IT USED FOR HOT DRINKS
• I wouldn't. The reason being is that it is not insulated. I don't think it would keep anything hot for any amount of time. I also think it would be hot to the touch because of the no insulation. Try Avoin bottles. They are well insulated and a much better product.

• You may put them in dishwasher. However the ones that are painted may chip after some time. I did speak with the company and they are working on a new paint formula. • The metal portion from bottom to top of lip is 9 1/8" tall. With the older lid I have it is 10 5/8 " tall overall.
