QUESTION: WILL IT KEEP ME WARM ON 10 DEGREE F NIGHTS?
• No it will not it is only rated for 30-50 F degree weather not 10 this bag is only a Cool weather bag they do have cold and extreme cold weather bags that are great for 10 degrees though

• Hi while this sleeping bag is a very nice bag n will do its cool weather task it will not do cold weather. It is rated as a cool weather bag. So that basically means spring summer n fall.To me 32 degree F. And below temps is getting into and part of a cold winter bag and as such a person needs at least a 10 or 0 degree to start to go into that area of temps. These type of bags r usually a mummy w hood bag and have specific ratings for them. A person can combine like a bivy bag to go w a sleeping bag to ensure no weather like snow or rain getting on the bag n by use of the bivy the effective temp of ur sleeping bag will get u maybe 10 degree colder use from it. Expect to pay starting 65 dollars normally or more for a 0 or 10 degree mummy sleeping bag. Hope it helps u ...

QUESTION: IS IT MACHINE WASHABLE?
• Cleaning Your Sleeping Bag: DO NOT DRY CLEAN YOUR SLEEPING BAG. The manufacturers of our synthetic and down fills inform us that solvents and fumes used in cleaning may be retained in the insulation and if inhaled, could produce skin irritation, allergic reaction, or possibly serious physical injury. Machine Washing & Drying: We suggest washing the bag in a front loading (non-agitator), heavy duty, commercial washer. Use a mild detergent. We suggest using specific detergent for sleeping bags. Do not use bleach. Use cool or cold water setting, delicate or gentle cycle. For best results, run the bag through one or two extra rinse cycles without detergent. Remove from washer carefully in a bundle. Dry in a commercial dryer at low heat or AIR setting (must be less than 125°F). Excessive heat will damage fabric and insulation. Add several tennis balls to the drying cycle to loosen the matted insulation as the sleeping bag is dried.

• Inside isn't polyester, it's a sort of fleece - exterior is weather-resistant polyester

QUESTION: IS IT GOOD FOR BACKPACKING TRIPS OR IS IT TOO HEAVY?
• I would say it is definitely NOT too heavy. In fact, I might be a little concerned about it being too light. I think that when we checked on the "comfort zone" of this bag, it indicated 50 to 70F. If you were to try to sleep where it got less than 50, you would have to have extra "warm-making" stuff. Our little girls (elementary aged) like to get in their bags at night and read sometimes, in our home. I don't think they'd be comfortable if the temps were less than 50 or more than 70 degrees. I hope this helps you make a decision!

QUESTION: IS IT PADDED ENOUGH TO NOT HAVE A BED, OR IS IT LIKE A BLANKET ON THE GROUND?
• A Pad would be Preferable for Personal Comfort.
• More like a comforter on the ground. You'd be hard pressed to find a sleeping bag that negated the need for a mat or cot.

QUESTION: IS THIS SLEEPING BAG BIG OR BULKY IN ANY WAY BECAUSE I WILL BE GOING ON A TWO-DAY HIKING TRIP AND I HAVE A MEDIUM SIZED BACKPACK AND I WANT TO KNOW IF IT WILL LOOK ODD ATTACHED TO MY PACK.
• It came with a roll up bag, but I can never roll it to get it to fit exactly back in. It is a bit bulky, I can roll it and use the straps to attach it to my bug out bag. If its one of the smaller medium then probably will look odd, but you will be warm.
• This is great for camping, but you should be able to get a backpacking bag that will be more suitable.
• I am sorry that I can't really answer your question. I gave this to my grandson for his birthday. He does a lot of camping with his Boy Scout troop and needed a new one. He and his father seemed delighted with it, but that's all I can tell you really.

• Amazon website shows 33" x 75" ---exact size of "medium sized backpack" not stated in inches, so we think you may need to exactly measure your "medium" backpack in inches for you to decide if the 33" x 75" will fit or not. Happy Trails.

• Yes, a bag comes with it. You roll the sleeping bag up and it goes in the bag for easy carrying.

• I'm not sure, I'm sorry. We have three different brands of sleeping bags. The bottom is more narrow than the top.

• Yes. I upzip it (so inside and outside get equally cleaned) and tie up the loops (so they don't get caught on anything). I also throw it in the dryer on low to get it part of the way dry and then hang it up to let it air dry completely.
