QUESTION: HOW LONG DOES IT STAY COLD?
• Not long. If you want it to stay cold i recommend Contigo. It stays cold for hours and hours.
• not too long really. just like your average water bottle from the fridge, the water would stay cold just as long as that. the good news though - with cold ice water inside, it doesn't make your hand cold trying to drink it. ice water in the bottle will stay cold just like a regular glass. the ice will melt in the hour and the water will stay cold accordingly. this bottle helps you to drink so much water that it doesn't matter in actuallity. I'm sure you'll be done with one bottle by the time it gets warm. started drinking over a gallon a day with this puppy!
• I would say maybe up to an hour
• This bottle is not the insulated Camelbak. You may want to spend a little more for that type. Stays cold same amount of time as a normal fm drinking glass.
• It isn't a Yeti so it doesn't stay cold all day but it stays cold enough for me to finish it.
• Its not insulated so that depends on the temperature of the water and the temperature of the environment.
• Not long at all, no insulation

QUESTION: PLASTIC TYPE - IT SAYS BPA FREE BUT THE ONE I RECEIVED HAS PLASTIC CODE 3 - DOESN'T THIS MEAN THAT IT COULD CONTAIN PHTHALATES?
• The hard plastic used by Camelbak is 100% free of BPA and BPS.
• Hi, that is a great question. Sorry, I can't answer. I would suggest emailing the seller for help with this. Thanks.

QUESTION: HOW OFTEN DOES THE BITE VALVE NEED TO BE REPLACED?
• I've had mine for about 2 months and the bite valve is already starting to not stay down
• Honestly, I've never replaced mine. I have 6 of theses bottles and all the bite valves are fine. As long as you dont try and bite it off when you use it, they will last. I've been using camelbak products since I joined the military ( 7 years ago). Love all their products. However, the bite valves do need to be cleaned. I soak my bite valves in water, vineger and a little bit of baking soda. Bleach works as well but i prefer vineger/baking soda/and water. After I've soaked them for about 30 minutes to an hour ( totally your preference on how long you soak them) i use the little bristle brush to really get in there and clean it out. Our mouths are gross and germy and the bite valves sometimes get mold in them ( if they arent being cleaned and water and other gunk is left in them) ;)

• Hello, The bottle without the lid is 7 1/2 inches tall. With the lid it is 9 3/4 inches tall. The diameter is 3 inches. Thanks!

QUESTION: I NEED TO USE THIS BOTTLE IN A PLACE WHERE NOBODY MAKES A BIG NOISE. IS THERE ANY SOUND WHEN YOU DRINK ANYTHING FROM THE BOTTLE?
• No noises at all besides the sound of the water being sucked up.
• No sound at all.
• I have not noticed any big noise. You do have to suck it, but it does not make that loud sucking noise that some bottles do if that's what you mean.
• I haven't noticed noise while drinking from this bottle.
• No it doesnt makeat loud sounds when you drink from it. But it leaks a lot well the one i have.
• It is very quiet, you should be fine.
• it does have have a bit of sound to it in all honesty
• Not usually. I had an issue where there was a rip in the valve and that caused a horrendous noise. But without defect, the bottle is practically silent until you finish the contents.

QUESTION: DOES THE WATER BOTTLE STILL WORK IF YOU TAKE THE STRAW OUT?
• No
• Yes the CamelBak eddy bottle works fine without the straw. Some prefer using the bottle without the straw and some with. If you do not want to use the straw, simply pull it out of cap (it will pull out easily).
#CamelBak_eddy

QUESTION: CAN YOU USE THIS FOR SMOOTHIES?
• You certainly could, however I would recommend the insulated version of this bottle over this bottle. Also the mouth piece is hard to clean, so it may get pretty gross it you don't clean it well.
• You could because the straw is wide enough, but depending on the type of your smoothly.....the mouth piece might be a little hard to clean.
• I am sure you can. The straw is pretty thick and sturdy. It would probably take some real good sucking to get the smoothie through the straw. I see you being able to do smoothies if they aren't too thick.
• I personally think it depends on the thickness of the smoothie (I haven't tried using it for smoothies). But I probably wouldn't use this bottle for smoothies. It's more for water, juice, etc.

QUESTION: WHEN THE WATER BOTTLE IS CLOSED IS THE BITE VALVE EXPOSED OR COVER?
• Mostly exposed
• It fits into a little "cove" if you will. It's not covered from the top, but if you look at it from the side view, the value sits in the gray handle part.

QUESTION: DOES IT FIT IN A STANDARD CAR CUP HOLDER
• Frustratingly, depends on the car. In my 2006 Honda Pilot - those standard cup holders - it DOES NOT fit, and it makes us crazy (just a HAIR too big). In the door cup holders for the passengers it DOES NOT fit either. In the 2006 Honda CRV, it has 1 oversized "pull out" cup holder in the dash and it fits there. In the cupholders in the center flip up tray, it DOES NOT fit. In my 2013 Taurus SHO, it DOES fit in the double cup holder only if you move the sizing divider over 1 notch to create one "slightly oversized" cup holder place for it. In my 2014 Focus ST, it DOES NOT fit in any cup holders.
• Yes, it fits snuggly!
• It fits in the ones in my Chevy truck, so yes, very likely.
#CamelBak_eddy_.75L_Water_Bottle

QUESTION: HOW DO YOU DRINK OUT OF IT?
• As the previous response indicates, there is a bite valve through which--while biting--you suck the water up through the straw.
• Bite the nipple and suck. No, I'm not joking.
• You bite the nozzle and suck
#CamelBak_eddy

QUESTION: HOW LONG DOES THE MOUTHPIECE LAST?
• If you don't chew on it, it'll last as long as you have the bottle. Wash the mouthpiece regularly to keep it in good shape.
• I'd say a few months...I use mine everyday, all day and wash it with a bottle brush everyday and I'll get about 3 months until it rips. I actually don't mind when it rips, the flow is just faster.
• About a month or so. I had to order new one and after a month it's already broken.
• my last one i had before this the mouthpiece was good for almost a year just had to wash normally especially if it is not chewed on or anything. Great water bottle!

QUESTION: IS THE STRAWBERRY COLOUR MORE ON THE PINK SIDE OR RED? THANK YOU!
• Hi, I bought the Deep Red Camelbak And not sure about Strawberry? Sorry
• I would say red.
• It is more on the red side. I would say it is a light red.
• More red
#CamelBak_eddy_Review

QUESTION: WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED METHOD OF WASHING THIS BOTTLE?
• We hand wash. Worry about the high temp on the straw and bottle top.
• I use hot, soapy water; I have not put it in the dishwasher.
• I take everything apart every few days and place them in The dishwasher. Once, for a stubbornly dirty bite valve, I soaked it in vinegar for an hour first.
• Instructions only said all parts are top-rack dishwasher safe
• I usually just hand wash it because I do not have a dishwasher. I make sure to rinse out the straw as well and clean around the opening. Then I just let it dry on the drying rack.
#CamelBak_eddy_.75L_Water_Bottle

QUESTION: WHAT HAPPEN IF YOU ARE PLAYING SPORTS AND A BALL HIT THE BOTTLE OVER, WILL THE LID OPEN AND SPILL?
• No! These are super great for athletics. Water will only come out when you squeeze the straw with your teeth!
• Not likely.
#CamelBak_eddy

QUESTION: I BITE THE RUBBER BUT NOTHING COMES OUT.???????
• Grip the nozzle with your thumb and index finger and roll it around/squeeze until it pops open. It took me a minute. DO NOT CUT IT WITH SCISSORS!
• Bite only means you open the mouthpiece, sucking is the next step. Certainly, bite more times , you can also drink the water.
• I thought mine was defective when I got it because of this. However, you need to continue biting the mouthpiece quite a few times until it breaks open..and you should be good to go.

QUESTION: WHICH COLOR IS CLOSEST TO PINK? THE DRAGONFRUIT COLOR?
• Yes the dragonfruit is pink
• I have both dragonfruit & strawberry, which are VERY close in color. I think dragonfruit is a bit pinker than the strawberry. Barely.
#CamelBak_eddy_Review

QUESTION: DOES THIS KEEP THE FLUID AT THE TOP OF THE STRAW? I'M NOT SUPPOSE TO DRINK THROUGH STRAWS, STOMACH ISSUES. THEY SUGGESTED A CAMEL BAK
• Yes the fluid stays at the top of the straw until you release it.
• In order to get the fluid to the top, you have to suck it. Once there, the fluid remains at the top of the straw as long as there is at least an inch or so of liquid. When the Camelbak is almost empty, then of course the fluid does not remain there.
#CamelBak_eddy_.75L_Water_Bottle

QUESTION: WHERE IS IT MADE?
• The bottom of the bottle says China
• Molded into the plastic on the bottom is the word "China" so I suspect that's where it's made.
• In the us and exactly where idk it came from va tho
#CamelBak_eddy

QUESTION: DOES THE WATER STAY IN THE STRAW AFTER YOU START DRINKING? WILL I ALWAYS HAVE TO TAKE A BIT OF AIR BEFORE WATER OR NO?
• Water stays in the straw. I only find this problematic when I am refilling. I let the water drain from the straw over the open bottle rather than the floor.
• I don't have to take in air first when I'm drinking out of it. And as far as water staying in straw yes it stays unless you open the top and let it fall back into the bottle.
#.75L_Water_Bottle

QUESTION: DO YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO BITE DOWN EACH TIME TO GET SOME WATER?
• Yes, but not hard. The mouthpiece softens as you use it. You get used to it very quickly.
• yes
• yes. It stays closed, probably why it doesn't leak.
#CamelBak_eddy_Review

QUESTION: CAN YOU ADD WATER FLAVORING?
• Yes. However if you don't clean consistently it will build up in the mouth piece so make sure you're taking care of it.
• As bryce has mentioned, be weary of build up of staining materials or other substances. You can dilute the bottle for cleaning with warm water and bleach for a few hours and then hand washing. Make sure to have a bristle brush
• You can put whatever you want!
• yes I do it all the time.
#CamelBak_eddy_.75L_Water_Bottle

QUESTION: DOES THIS FIT INTO A CAR CUP HOLDER?
• Yes!
• Yes. The dimensions are in the description.
• yep!
• It does, but it's tight. at least in my car.
• I would say it depends on what type of car you have. It works in my truck, but not in my Honda Civic (2 door).
• It fits into most of the car cup holders, but not all. However, since it is truly leakproof when laid on its side, it can be laid on the passenger's seat.

• It's a little darker than the website shows
#CamelBak_eddy_Review

QUESTION: IF FILLED WITH ICE, WILL THE BOTTLE SWEAT?
• Yes, the bottle does sweat quite a bit, but I think that would be my only complaint. I've purchased two of the same one I like them so much. They don't fit in a bike water bottle holder but they're totally worth the money
• Yes - it will.
• Yes
• yes, it will

QUESTION: WHEN YOU GET THE CARDINAL RED, IS IT A BURGUNDY COLOR WHEN YOU RECIEVE IT?
• No, almost pink.
• I can't tell it because I'v got the chilli red bootle.
#CamelBak_eddy

QUESTION: DOES IT FIT IN A CUP HOLDER
• Fits perfectly in all of the ones I've tried.
• This one does not fit in a holder on a bike. Its more for trail running, I'd guess because of the loop to be used to hold with a finger. They make bottles that fit in holders.
• Yes it fits in a cup holder in my Toyota but the camelback cozy I got for it makes it too big for a cup holder.
#.75L_Water_Bottle
