• No it does not, however, it has a vented back. To be truthful, Im a pretty sweaty guy in the summer time, you dont have to worry about the pit vents on this shirt, its going to keep you pretty cool, and its drafty without them.
• Yes, it is well vented and very cool. If it gets wet, it drys quickly
• The area under the armpit is not vented. This area is solid. The back is vented with two slits on the upper sides just before the armpits. The vented area is mesh lined. This allows better shoulder action as well as cooling.
• This shirt has a vented back. It is very light and comfortable.
• The mesh is in a couple places. First, the pockets on the front are made of mesh. Second, there are two vents on the upper back to mid back. These are located near the shoulders and are vertically oriented, so the armpits get fresh air better than a bonehead/bahama fishing shirts, both of which have horizontal venting.

QUESTION: HOW HARD IS IT TO WASH THESE SHIRTS? ANY TIPS ON WASHING THEM?
• Very easy. Wash in cold water with not very strong soap (detergent) . Do not use fabric softener . Do not dry in the sun . Do not iron with steam. Iron with low heat
• I have two, blue and black. Wash cold then I put in dryer for two minutes or so with the load. Pull it out and usually dry without wrinkles. Get compliments every time I wear!
• I wash mine buttoned up on perm press. Ive never had a problem.
• I simply wash cool, remove them from washer, shake them out, hang on a hanger and let them dry. Alternately, wash cool, dry on delicate cycle and hang in closet. I've yet to iron.

• I ordered a beige colored shirt. When I wear my black t-shirt underneath you can see the outline of the pocket against the black background. You will not have a problem with brighter colors.

• I bought the shirts in the colors Gulf Stream and Bright Peach. The fabric in these colors is not see through. If you feel it is see through why not just wear a light undershirt?
• I can only answer about the color white in the women's. I think the other lighter colors aren't too sheer.
