QUESTION: ARE THE BAND AIDS IN THIS KIT LATEX FREE?
• I'm not sure if they are latex-free or not (I'm guessing they aren't), however, it is the best kit I've ever had! If anyone is allergic to latex, I would recommend that you replace the band-aids with your preference. I bought two kits and was shocked to find so many items in it.
• Not sure, but we are putting latex free into kit when we put it in to service. Bought 2 and price was good and well equipped. Figured we can add a gew thibngs depending on our groups needs.
• The bandaids say "adhesive" bandages only; no note regarding latex or latex free. The gloves in the kit do say "latex free". The plastic tweezers are worthless; I bought a different tweezers for this kit. This kit is one of those "you get what you pay for" items.

• Hi Sensai, thanks for the good question. You'll find that each sterile item within the kit will have an expiration date printed on it. They range from 3-5 years, so we would recommend replacing the kit with a new one at a minimum of every 3 years, to guarantee that integrity of all items.
• I have this for about 4 months now and everything is intact and works well. I have placed permanently in my car
• I do not have an exact answer. but I will tell you that everything is packed very well, sealed well and I see no reason for any of it not to last at least 2w years. It truly is a wonderful first aid kit. The best I have ever had!

QUESTION: WHAT IS THE OUTSIDE DIMENSIONS OF THE BAG?
• The bag is soft, so measurements are subjective. I measured it so I could find a waterproof hard-case to put it in. The outside measurements I got were: 7.5" x 5.5" x 3.0". Any of these measurements could be reduced by .5" easily, by compressing the kit a little bit. This would not harm the contents. Squishing it an inch or more in any direction might.
• I dont have it in front of me because my son put it in his truck. but to me it resembles a quart size bag.

QUESTION: WHAT IS THE WEIGHT
• I didn't weigh it but it is very light weight. Anyone can probably carry it, including young children.
• goah, I won't be giving a precise answer here, however if weight is a critical factor for it going on a hike, this is not going to be an issue; it does contain a lot of items, however these are all super-lightweight items, even bundled together. I'd guesstimate that it's no more than 1.5 pounds.
